This is a beautiful location for a stay in the local area. The property is very close to Avebury stone circle (a half-hour walk away) and very peaceful. Our room was very clean and warm, and the bed was super comfortable. The view from our room was lovely across the fields. Dinner in the local pub was delicious and excellent value and we enjoyed talking to some of the locals from the village. There was so much choice for breakfast which was very tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly hosts. We would definitely go back and stay again to explore more of the local area.

Ben, Cody, Matilda, Maia and Dave were the most wonderful, welcoming hosts. We stayed in Pratchett! Lovely big room with a bathroom you could almost get lost in! Delicious simple, home cooked food with a local provenance and learning the history behind ‘Cabbage Sunday’ from the locals made for an entertaining Sat eve.

The property is work in progress, the family have grand plans for its future and it will be amazing when everything comes together, not quite there yet but don’t let that put you off.

There was a warm welcome from the hosts. It was so peaceful to be able to sit out in the evening and watch the birds flying over their pond. The in room tea and coffee drinks machines were useful as well as energy efficient. The wet room and shower products were lovely. The breakfast was well organised, delicious local products including bacon, sausage, tomatoes and preserves. Loved the generous pot of tea.

It would be good to have a sign on the main road or be given specific directions. I stopped and asked a neighbour for the turning.

The whole experience of staying at this comfortable and welcoming place. Our room was warm, with a lovely large bed and super view. The shower room was very well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was amazing all locally sourced food . The fresh fruit platter was very attractive selection and good quality fresh fruit. We had a meal in the bar, very nicely presented and tasty. All the people were very friendly A lovely ambience, very huge and cosy. The wood burning stove in the dining room was just the right temp. We liked the art displayed so much we bought a picture, which was carefully wrapped for us with lots of tinsel, which we later used in our Christmas Dec's. Great place, lovely host. Would really recommend this place especially for families.

Stayed with my little boy, sister in law and mother who visited from Poland. We all enjoyed our stay. Owners have made us feel welcome. We have been greeted when arrived and asked if we need help with bags. All nicely explained and showed around. Rooms and bathroom sizes were perfect, good choice of food for breakfast (fresh and tasty)and a nice view from the window. Close to Avebury. The host went above and beyond to make us feel satisfied.

Elderbrook house was a welcoming and lovely b&b. our room was very large as was the en-suite. the bed was big and very comfy. The whole place was a very nice temperature. breakfast was particularly nice with the log stove being lit before our arrival. Ben was an excellent host and prepared us a very generous and delicious breakfast with fine local ingredients. the eggs were exceptional. he gave us some local maps when we enquired about walks. I would recommend staying when the attached pub is open for an excellent dinner - currently Thursday to Sunday. really worth it. local ale also good! Ben gave us water and fruit and Bickies every day to keep us going on our adventures even on the day of departure which was very appreciated. if you like dogs, Maia will gladly take a pat but she didn’t come out of her bed unless invited. she is lovely doggo. the location is great, very quiet and close to Avebury stones plus other significant places. value for ££ is very very very good. we would stay here again if in the area again and would 101% recommend to everyone. elderbrook house is a gem.

nothing. it was a really great property.

The house was lovely and full of country charm, the rooms where super clean including a spotless and vast restroom which can easily compete with some of the best luxury hotel. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was freshly made and was definitely one of the best we have had for a long while. We even got bags with fruit, biscuits and water for the road. The hosts a young couple were super friendly and where excellent in all aspects. They have created a gem of a place. The only thing we regret was that the pub they run next door was closed on Wed evenings. We look forward to visit again when the pub is open. Highly recommended for a perfect countryside break.

From start to finish everything was exceptional. We arrived to a warm welcome from Cody welcoming us by name, and offering to help with luggage. The room was breathtaking, we got an upgrade to the family room to make our first night away together since 2019! We had tea in the pub and it was the BEST burger I’ve ever had. Breakfast the following morning was as amazing. We love it that much we have book again for August. Cody and Ben are amazing hosts thank you for making our stay magical x

Had a fantastic stay at Elderbrook house, a b&b run by a lively family. The room was huge and very comfortable. Visited on a very cold day, but the room was very warm, with plenty of hot water for a nice bath. Bed is also extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very nice too, but unfortunately we didn’t h get a chance to eat at the pub, but a lot of people we’ve spoken to in Avebury really complimented their food! As we were leaving we also got a little bag of fruit and water, which was a sweet and unexpected touch! Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Our room was large and bathroom as big again . Massive bed, really comfy . Lovely soft pillows and great nights sleep. The food we had was also unexpected as we had two evening meals and two breakfasts which were delicious . The breakfasts were all local ingredients , amazing and the Burford brown eggs best we've ever tasted, the most orange colour you have ever seen I swear . The bar meals we had were scampi n chips peas and tartare sauce my wife cleaned the plate which doesn't happen often , mine was Hunters chicken n chips with seasonal vegetables. You could see it was fresh cooked straight away , big chicken breast with lovely sauce and beautifully moist throughout . It was so much better than we expected from a pub meal of which we've had many over the year's . Second nights meal we kept it simple and just had a burger and chips in the bar as we weren't that hungry . The best burger we have ever tasted , the burger again was local produce with salad and brioche bun which I normally never order was simply incredibly tasty . I would go all the way back there just to eat that again . The staff were also friendly and very helpful as were the locals we sat with during our visit . The owner we met as well , a really nice guy , was a pleasure to stay there . When we left we were even given a little picnic bag with water and fruit for our journey home . Very thoughtful . Would definitely stay again .
