The rooms are beautifully decorated, with great facilities. The shower is incredible! I've stayed in room one and room four. Room ones bed is a hard, but I didn't mind that at all. Room four bed is soft (marshmallow sink into) and was just what I needed after a very long day at work. The stocked fridge and breakfasts options were perfect and just what I needed to start my day. I good selection too. Great communication from the hosts as well.

Old building and old windows. Outside noise heard more from room four (faces the road), less noise heard from room one, at the back of the property. To be expected from the type of building just off the high street.

Absolutely gorgeous room, immaculately clean, the decor was so beautiful and edgy (loved the crow side lamps)! Lush thick curtains, beautiful bathroom. Generous supplies of hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel. Good amount of food for breakfast - a cute selection of things and even decaff tea bags - hallelujah. Good wifi and tv. Very good value and a great location.

Bit noisy due to traffic - could do with secondary glazing. If you are trying to avoid a sugar dump at breakfast (and sadly, I think we all should be! - see The Glucose Revolution) there was nothing savoury. Bumped my head a couple of times on the beam into the bathroom - my own fault for being tall and not paying attention, but just to be aware: it's low!

It's cosy and warm. Very nicely decorated from the front door to the room. Perfect for me and my son. His only issue was not enough milk. Was in a room over looking the garden area (which I think is being worked on??, hopefully next time it will be completed.plants? Table and chairs maybe? ) Plenty of tea and coffee and little biccies and the breakfast was just lovely. Adored the bowls and the little gold spoons. Going for look see to buy some of my own haha

Missing letters from the place mats and coasters in the bedside drawers. Couldn't spell out a thankyou message :) Parking is a little irksome but we managed ok in the end. Frees Ave we used up by the common. Grabbed a nice walk round there too.

Our room was beautiful and the bathroom was perfect - loved the bath products. The room was a little small for us as we are on a long trip and so had large suitcases, but for a regular trip it would be just fine and we managed. I expected the room to be noisy as it was facing the road but it was extremely quiet - and I wake with every sound. Parking was super easy. You pull up to the front door, off load your suitcases then drive a minute up the road for free on street parking. We left some of my husband's shirts in the wardrobe by mistake and first thing next day we were informed of this and arrangements made to post them to us. The one thing that surprised and really impressed me was the in room breakfast. I told the property manager that we wouldn't need breakfast (I am very anti packaged and processed food) but she said its in your fridge already. Wow! What a treat, a jar of super fresh fruit - mango, berries, melon. A jar of overnight oats freshly prepared. Coffee, tea, juice, croissants, and mini panettone - all delicious

Amazingly quirky, great location. Fab wee restaurant and bar downstairs 👌 And the staff were so friendly.

Loved it. Very quirky. However could do with some lighting next to the kettle and breakfast stuff in room 4 @ no 7. Also a mirror in the bedroom near a socket for ladies to do their hair & a full length mirror too please. Room 3 @ no7 the bed is at a wonky angle so needs to be levelled off. I know the floors are all uneven in old buildings which is absolutely part of the charm, but we were rolling out of the bed. Summer duvets would be welcome too. But we really did enjoy our stay.

Central location on the hill into Marlborough. Rooms small but well equipped. Great self service breakfast left for us with coffee machine - much appreciated. (Croissant/cereal/ juice) only here 1 night on way to Devon. Super hot when we stayed but the fans were much appreciated in our rooms.

Nowhere to park for drop off and had to pay to park in nearby Marlborough High Street. Our double room was road side and rather noisy - worse because we had windows open during scorching heat. People revving up to go uphill and braking at some speed as they came downhill. Worse for us because we live in a very quiet village, but only one night so not an issue really. Children's 2nd floor twin room was small but garden side so much quieter. Their ensuite was on same floor but was not part of their room.

Really nice room, mixing modern decoration with old building details. Spotless clean, well served continental breakfast, fabulous quality amenities, excellent location close to everything in the town centre, thoughtful customer service, they provided all information needed before we even asked, including tips about the area such as places to visit and eat.

I can't think of anything I didn't like... Maybe have the room refreshed a bit earlier, ours was done at around 3-4pm just when we got back from a long walk and needed a rest.

The room was clean and decorated really nicely. It was small but fine for a quick overnight stop over. Great instructions on how to self check in. Very simple to use the codes at the street entrance and room. Great shower. Easy walk to the centre of town.

Walls are thin. Sound travels right through. The other guests were quiet though once they entered their rooms. There were people out and about quite late. But it wasn't too intrusive. The toilet works but is a bit strange. It's a very slow flush and initially we thought it was broken and not working properly. Be patient with it. It will eventually flush everything away.

Great room, very comfortable bed and lovely quirky decor. Great location and easy check in. Very good breakfast in bed offering, plenty of choice, the fruit pots and yoghurt/granola were excellent, as was the coffee machine and the lovely panettone.

Only little negatives were lack of charging points and bedside tables, and the zip and link bed was lower on one side so a bit wonky. And would have liked much fresher pastries as they were a bit stale, but the breakfast offering was otherwise excellent and the room lovely. The owners were polite but could improve their communication style to be a little warmer when messaging.

Great central location. Bedroom and bathroom extremely clean. In-room breakfast selection was good and a gluten free option was provided which was much appreciated. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and juice. Self check in very easy and convenient.

The low black metal railings outside the property are a hazard if you arrive at night! Large wardrobe unit in the bedroom could be made smaller to allow for a table and chairs where breakfast could be enjoyed.
