Park Hotel

The hotel was easy to access from the main road,with its own parking.You could walk into town in 5 mins.The room was very comfortable and a brilliant bathroom, all exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly however not in your face.The meals are just amazing, I loved my breakfast ! and good value for money. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to those who want to explore the north of Scotland.

The only thing would be a lift to the first floor for those who require it

The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was incredible good value along with being excellent (taste wise). Drinks very well priced compared to other hotels and cities I have been in . The room was large and had all the extras one expected , tea, coffee,kettle etc. My full Scottish breakfast in the morning was tasty and rather filling to say the least. All in all a very nice hotel, staff and location. I would recommend it and would definitely stay there again should I require another tour on my motorbike up north

The room was huge The bed was huge and comfortable. The shower room was modern and the shower was brilliant. All the normal facilities, hairdryer, iron and board, kettle, tea, coffee, chocolate biscuits A working charger. Absolutely delicious evening meal. Black pudding at breakfast yum.

The walls were very thin. We could hear people peeing in the toilet, opening blinds, switching switches talking etc The poor woman trying to sort out the breakfast rush stood no chance on her own. There was a man, manager? I don't know, he was drifting around doing nothing useful while this woman was running around like a very blue fly. She was amazing I'm just sorry I didn't get her name, she deserves a medal

The staff were great! I arrived just after 8pm and I asked the receptionist about ordering food because I missed last orders for food. She very kindly gave me a menu so I could order then go to my room. So helpful. I also chose this hotel because of the EV Chargers in the car park, a great idea and I think more and more hotels should provide a few for residents. Breakfast was excellent too. Thank you, if I visit again then this hotel will be the one I book up with.

Nothing at all! Was an all around excellent experience

The staff at the Hotel were all incredible. It was obvious this is a really well run hotel with great people involved. Probably the most friendly team at a hotel we have stayed on over the last few weeks. We had an issue that we needed help with and the reception team came up with a great solution that helped make our stay better. The staff in the resturant for both the evening and breakfast were all really friendly. The resturant had a lot of locals dinning there which is always a great sign.

This a modern hotel close to the centre of Thurso. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We had a large modern room with a very comfortable bed and a view across the city. It was very quiet at night. The ensuite was a good size and spotlessly clean. There was good wifi and plenty of free parking on-site. The hotel has an excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast was quick and easy for our early departure.

The Park Hotel was pleasant and comfortable, a good spot for our one-night layover prior to boarding the ferry for Orkney. The location was very convenient, easy to find, and away from the somewhat cramped center of town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfy, and neat.

The bathroom was a little cramped but well appointed. The stairway from the reception area to the rooms was narrow and a bit tricky to negotiate with our large luggage. There were also several heavy self-closing doors along the hallway between the stairs and our room, again just a bit awkward with our bags.

Our expectations were not high….this was the cheapest hotel for our tour of Scotland….we had enjoyed one excellent hotel but the night before this hotel, we had a poor experience. I arrived expecting the worse. The staff advised us to park at th3 back, near the door to the hotel as I said we were old and creaky. Our chalet was immaculate. The shower room great, two very comfy beds. We had supper at the hotel and breakfast, which was the best yet!

A Large hotel with good facilities and lots of parking space. Room provided was clean and tidy with adequate Tea/Coffee Facilities and Toiletries We had a lovely meal in their restaurant area. We were provided with a Cooked and continental Breakfast self service with cook ordered and served to table. Staff were all pleasant. Would Recommend

Stayed here when doing the NC500 and what a great find. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not book breakfast but did have an evening meal. The meal was reasonably priced with plenty to eat, the restaurant was busy so best to pre book. Overall a lovely night and we would stay again.
