The rooms are spacious, shower and bathrooms are always going to be smaller in buildings that have this much history and character but they’ve actually built the shower with enough space for my tall and larger frame to fit comfortably. Property is very clean and freshly painted, dining room was lovely too. My parents are older, large and slower but they enjoyed walking into town it was just the right distance away to not hear the masses of people but burn off Bennetts fish and chips. Views are stunning.

Our hosts were really nice, helpful and very welcoming. The location is fabulous in a cul-de-sac right on the beachfront with lovely views and direct access to the beach. It's only a short walk to plenty of bars, restaurants, and the old harbour, marinas, etc., not far away. The B&B was clean and comfortable. Delicious fresh-cooked breakfast, and other items available, in the morning - they generously agreed to do this a little early since we needed to be out early. Free overnight parking directly outside - you'll need to find somewhere during the day though.

It's an old building (as are most on the seafront) so watch your head!

Lyndale, Weymouth, is a small, family run B&B. We found it to be clean, comfortable and quiet. Sylvia and Roger were great hosts and answered our questions with ease and local experience. Our breakfasts were nicely cooked with good ingredients and variety was there if one felt inclined. We feel that this B&B offers really good value for money.

The ONLY negative comment I could make is that in places the paintwork could have been better. But DO NOT let that detract from my positive comments above. And, of course, once open, its very difficult to start painting with gloss paint!

We had a family room on the first floor with a bay window and a sea view - superb. Keeping the window open, you can hear the waves and watch the sea all the time. Wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean. And we had such a restful sleep, as the beds were so comfortable. Tea, coffee, water provided in the room. Breakfast was of good quality. And last, but not least, the owners are really very nice people, the place has a very good vibe to it!

We've just had a fabulous week staying at the lyndale guesthouse. Thankyou Sylvia, Roger and Connor, both our rooms were immaculately clean,bed was so comfortable nice and quiet at night nice clean towels supplied tea coffee etc shower gel also in room. Roger was first class service at breakfast he brought us out Sylvia's cooked breakfast which we pre-ordered the night before it was 10 out of 10 we totally recommend anyone to stay here thankyou for looking after us all we will definitely be back again

Nothing to not like

They put all the attention in getting gluten free products because of my wife's intolerance problem. Full English Breakfast was very nice and well prepared. The room has a small chest of drawers which is very handy to keep the room tidy and a nice rack to hang clothes and put shoes or the case. Our room didnt have view to the sea but we liked how they decorated outside the window. It has a basin in the room and another one in the bathroom, which we found very original and suitable. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk plus the bonus of biscuits and complimentary water. It is a quiet room and we could rest very well. The place is literally in front of the sea. You cross the street and the beach is there! Roger was very helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you !!

Rooms advertised on booking.com looked beautiful with the sea view, however we had a room with view on the street and other building's roofs. Toilet was outside of the room on the corridor situated right next to some other guest's room so the privacy was difficult. The lock in the toilet was very hard to use and the flush in the toilet wasn't working properly

Loved being able to look at the beach and see and being able open my window and have the sound of the sea and seagulls. Being able to step out the door and the beach is right there.

Property was lovely , only issue was that my bed was above the downstairs front door and every time someone went in or out the door slams and is quite annoying. And parking was an issue

Lovely warm welcome very friendly and went above to help you with anything breakfast was lovely accomdate any food requirements it was an amazing stay highly recommended and will definitely be returning even my daughter loved the food and stay and can't wait to return location is perfect and lovely views .

Great location- right opposite the beach. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Room was clean & tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed & complimentary hot drinks/ water & biscuits. The shower was pleasantly hot & powerful with complimentary toiletries. Tasty breakfast.

Not so much that I didn’t like but the price would be a consideration if I’d been there for longer than the one night. This could be because I booked at short notice & it was only for one night though.
