Breakfast was not available on site lunch and dinner is and was very good, the owner and staff were very helpful, very friendly and could not do enough for you. I appreciate everything they did for us and it is clean to satisfaction.

The pub hotel is very nice. I have no fault with the hotel pub, but I do have a fault with booking.com because when I got there we had a double bed room, father and daughter is not appropriate so we had to make shift with the help of the staff and owner that to put up another bed in the room. As requested on your website booking.com. It should automatically do a family room not a double bed for a child and adult.

The Lugger Inn is a lovely pub/hotel. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. There was a live band on Friday evening (which started after we'd finished supper and stopped just as we were going to bed. It was fun and convivial and there is also a quiet room - so we were able to enjoy a bop on the dancefloor and a chat on the sofa in the room next door and it was quiet when we went to bed. Supper was very good - the food is excellent - and the service was very good - warm, friendly and attentive.

There was a very minor issue in our bathroom, and the manager sorted it out efficiently and quickly.

I like pubs and this is a lovely pub great selection of drinks friendly people and great food. Loved the location out of the town of weymouth quieter easy to park and relax. We got there and it was pizza night wood fired and delicious some of the best we've had in this country. The next time we ate at the luggers I had the famous chicken burger I can see why its famous its delicious I cant remember ever having a chicken burger like that the best I've ever had my partner had a steak and said it was also delicious my 5 year old daughter had sausage mash and beans ate as much as she could as it was a large child's portion we smashed the chocolate fudge cake after on both occasions. The rooms are very clean with everything you need not really any frills but why would you need a fancy room when you are staying in this beautiful part of the would. I would describe it as staying in your mates big spare room with an ensuit. The room size was plenty big enough for the 3 of us the shower room was a little tight but id put that down more to my few extra pounds than the actual size of it. The beer garden had plenty of benches I imagine it can get pretty busy when they have 1 of their themed nights or functions on we had just missed Caribbean night they had a sand pit in the corner and my daughter loved it (please don't get rid of it) so we enjoyed a few drinks while she played. We had a lovely time and can't rate this place highly enough im hoping to book again with some mates on a fishing trip I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple fun time some great food and drink and a bed to flop on to at the top of the stairs when you've had enough and doesnt want to be stuck in the town centre.

The only thing was no breakfast option available but ro be honest we didn't really miss it as we were up and out quite early anyway there was tea and coffee nakong facilities and they would of put a mini fridge in our room if we had wanted for milk for cereals but we weren't really bothered.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Such a relaxed atmosphere. The owner of the Inn, she was cleaning and I really wanted a couple of coffees and hot chocolates (didn't realise they weren't open til midday) although they weren't open yet, Jill (the owner) made them for us. She didn't have to do that, but she did. Thought it was an incredible thing to do. Lisa, Liam, Jill, kirsty and Leonie are doing an amazing job with the place. Highly recommend staying here. There's always something on, no matter wat night of the week it is. Good fun, good laugh, amazing time away from home.

Fabulous traditional pub with a modern twist. Easily one of the cheapest rooms available in the peak summer season in Dorset but that didn’t mean I had to compromise on cleanliness or comfort. Great room with TV, kettle tea and coffee. Live music on Saturday night, which I was concerned I might hear the noise in my room- but my room remained quiet and peaceful.

Myself and my partner loved how welcoming the staff were & how accommodating they were to our needs. The lugger inn is a beautiful place to stay and only a 10 minute drive from the town centre which is a bonus, our room was lovely and they even provided a fan! We will most definitely be returning in the future 😊

To be honest there wasn't anything bad whilst we stayed! It was great.

Tried a completely different area for this stay as didn't know the Chickerell side at all. Quieter and a bit more rural, but a bus every half hour and an hour on Sunday or Bank Holiday Mondays in to town. Please note, buses finish early on return (around 6pm-ish), so likely you'll have to get a taxi on which costs about a tenner, including tip. If you like a quieter side, this is for you. We spent all day in Weymouth centre, but nice to come back to this little gem in a country village atmosphere. I believe it was run by mother & son, Liam who we met. They were so hospitable, rooms were really clean- we loved the spa bath, the bar staff were great and again, after spending all day in town, went back to the pub and watched a brilliant band called 'Under The Carousel' which made our night as we love our live music. Many thanks for looking after us and look forward to seeing you all again very soon 😁🎵🥂🤘. Shaz & Darren XxX

The staff we're so lovely! a super helpful. The room and bathroom was very clean and a good size. The staff were so approachable and help us with the information about the area if we needed it. The food in the restaurant was amazing and so tasty! We'd happily return.

If I'm honest there's not much i can really say we didn't like.

Value for money was really good. The room was a lovely size and accommodated our family perfectly. We were staying to attend a family wedding at a local church so unfortunately didn’t get to sample the food, but everything we saw looked absolutely delicious! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely look to stay again!

The only negative point I have is that there was no breakfast available. Had we been able to get breakfast on site, this property would be 10/10!!

The food was fantastic, we have a lot of allergies and everything was catered to and the staff were amazing considering they were managing a fancy dress party and rugby match which resulted in a scuffle with the police coming out and hotel guest dinners all at the same time. I was honestly completely oblivious to the scuffle until the manager came over to apologise - as far as I was concerned we were sat in front of a warm fire and had amazing food ! Also amazed as you were two members of staff short and you still managed everything really well ! We were scattering my gran the next day and I have to admit I was a bit worried when we saw the massive party happening , but we couldn't hear anything from our bedrooms so managed to get to sleep and be refreshed for our day ahead.

Only thing I would think is that the rooms are in need of an update, but that is more aesthetics rather than function. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable for me, however that's personal preference.
