Could not fault it from start to finish Sandra and John were the perfect hosts the location is great beach and sea views from the front rooms harbour views from the back rooms the breakfast was the best I have had and eating it on the terrace watching the boats in the harbour made it just that little but more special. The rooms were spotless and spacious I will definitely be returning again as we had five busy days but still a lot more to see.

Everything about the Lantana was amazing , perfect Location rooms had a view of either the harbour or the beach. We were made very welcome by our hosts. The rooms were very stylish/ modern and clean. Bed was so comfortable and there was a small fridge with bottles of water inside. A lovely spacious dining room and an outdoor terrace overlooking the harbour and we could choose to have our breakfast out there which was absolutely delicious. The Lantana for us ticked all boxes and We would fully recommend.

Just back from a relaxing two night stay at Lantana Guest House. We booked the deluxe king room which was at the front of the property. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean. John and Sandra are wonderful hosts and will do anything for you. Breakfast was a large choice including cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurts and anything hot you’d like. All freshly prepared. They helpfully bought gluten free bread and sausages too.

The noise from the road can be annoying in the night but it was because we had the windows open

What an amazing little find, from the moment we booked Sandra and John couldn’t have been more helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by lovely friendly welcoming hosts, the whole house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, Sandra’s attention to detail and taste is beautiful, we then went to our room and all I can say is Wow!! Breakfast was perfect on a stunning terrace overlooking the harbour.

Nothing our whole stay was perfect and we didn’t want to leave !!!

I RECOMMEND THE HOTEL WITH GREAT PLEASURE!!!!! It is conveniently located! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there is everything you need! Very good breakfast and good coffee included! The owners are WONDERFUL KIND PEOPLE - responsive, smiling, warm, ready to help with anything. Thank you for a wonderful stay and everything. I recommend the hotel!!!❤️

There is nothing, nothing, that is NOT OK in this hotel! Everything is planned and done well!!!

This guest house is in a row of Georgian style guest houses with bay windows. Very attractive. It was well decorated and in a good position at the Western end of the Esplanade away from the busy traffic. It overlooked a small quiet public garden area to the front. We had one of the front bedrooms which was quiet. It had a sea view to the right hand side. At the rear of the property was a terrace which overlooked the harbour. one could take breakfast there or just sit and admire the view. I couldn't think of a more perfect location for a stay in Weymouth. The hosts were most welcoming and helpful. There was a good breakfast available including full English. The coffee was excellent.

The shower/toilet was very small with a sliding door. Personally, I don't like sliding doors to a toilet area.

First impressions are important. The location was amazing and the welcome was just right. The views from both front and rear of the property are both excellent with sea, beach, and harbour views . Sandra and John (owners) were very friendly and accommodating. Our room on the second floor was spacious, newly decorated to a very high standard, spotlessly clean, and had great sea views. This is one of the best Bed and Breakfast places we have ever stayed. Highly recommended.

So much to say about this gem of a guesthouse. 10/10 for location, cleanliness, views, breakfast and hosts. John and Sandra are fantastic, friendly hosts. They really go above and beyond what is expected from them – they made our stay for my husband’s 60th birthday absolutely brilliant. They decorated the breakfast area on the morning for him, sourced some champagne for me as a surprise and even got a birthday cake for him and sang at breakfast. They were able to recommend places to eat from personal experience and make suggestions on what to see and do in the area. We stayed in Room 1 which had a lovely view of the harbour. The other side of the guesthouse has views of the beach/sea. An added bonus for us personally is that this is an adult only guesthouse. Parking may be difficult in the peak of the season as it is street parking only with pay and display or parking permit. However, there is a large public car park just 2 minutes walk away behind the Pavilion which is £10 a day and free during the hours of 6pm-8am.

John and Sandra were truly amazing hosts. They were so warm and friendly and could not do enough for us. We were competing in the triathlon this weekend and John was more than happy to get up at 4:30 to ensure we got breakfast and ample supply of good coffee. It felt as if we arrived as guests and left friends. I might even come back and do the triathlon again next year just so to stay with them again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay with Sandra and John in July. They made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic, we also enjoyed the conversations with other guests who return to Lantana regularly. We loved our room which overlooked the estuary with plenty of activity and had everything we needed. We highly recommend Lantana and would stay here next time we're in UK.
