The Wilton Weymouth

Breakfast not included, which i knew before attending. Great breakfast choices very nearby at Wetherspoons and other cafe's, great (cheap) prices too. The accommodation is a bit dated, but it is very clean and perfect for a quick sea fishing getaway. Bed was comfortable and i had a great nights sleep.

The sash windows need replacing, but the owners are being held up by the local council trying to determine if the property is in a conservation area or if the property has to adhere to or apply for grade 2 listed buildings consent to change the windows on a like for like basis. There is no parking at the accommodation, but the Park Street car park is only 50 meters from the property and parking is free between 6pm and 8am.

This hotel is in a good place in Weymouth as short walk to the station and to shops, beach and bus stops so you can visit other places! The room ,the lovely lady owner upgraded us too, was big, good ensuite and even a fridge so you can keep things in it like milk! Plenty of places to eat too!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, apart from the weather, which at the time of year we went was expected!!!

Best value in town for a short notice booking. Comfortable bed, good hospitality tray (although it was too warm for hot drinks, but all the equipment was there), good shower with nice shower gel/shampoo dispenser. Two minutes walk from beach, five minutes to the shops, also the railway station, so excellent location. Room very quiet as at the back. Lovely wide opening window and heavy curtains to help keep it cool. Sarah the owner very helpful, quick to reply to any messages and a lovely friendly lady.

Nothing much, batteries in TV remote might need replacing as it changed channel okay but wouldn't turn on/off or adjust the volume (luckily buttons on the side of the TV did the trick). No hand wash supplied but easy to decant a bit of the shower gel into a small container for use at the sink. Sink tap still as reported on my last visit, it's an up and over (kitchen type) one, so makes face washing and teeth cleaning a bit tricky.

Great location just seconds from the seafront, beach, pubs, restaurants and bus services for getting about;, thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely host, parking space available at a reasonable extra charge and very quiet considering it's location. Flat was spacious, comfortable and there was everything we needed for our stay. Would go again.

we are very happy about hotel it was lovely room, free any time key before at 11pm night no problem. we will order again same place wilton hotel, i love bed feel great, comfy and clear mattress, cover water proof same as pillow. we love this room bed and shower room. firdge good idea. tea and coffee kettle was lovely. we are happy good price right match

we wish bit big tv size 32 inches heheh. wish help us for subiltiles for us hear lose not hear well. lovely room no problem. we like power red flash or white flash make us wake up for safe fires smoking. we cant hear firesmoking small hard cos we are deaf, some old people cant hear well lose hearing. wish flash fire smoking hope future get new safe for wilton hotel, no damange spread all thankyou for kind

Sarah was welcoming and warm. She was readily available for questions and responsive. A great host! The accommodation I received was exceptional. It felt like home from home. It was quiet, so I felt relaxed. I had all I need to feel comfortable. It was a block from the beach. A paid carpark right next door. But Sarah offered private parking for a small fee. And 15 minutes walk for work.

Low internet connection which made working remotely a challenge without a mi-fi. But Sarah is looking into this.

Clean and comfortable room, complete with kettle and tea/coffee, small fridge and cutlery/crocks so I could have cereal for breakfast in my room. Comfy bed and full set of towels. Easy walk to beach, quay, town centre, station and bus stops. Self check-in meant arrival time could be flexible and wasn't as disconcerting as I'd thought it might be and I did meet Sarah (who was lovely, and nagged me about sun cream) in the morning.

Windows didn't open so a little stuffy (I like fresh air at night). I gather Sarah is hoping to get them sorted but listed building status complicates things. Had to remember to close curtains with the light on as room was next to street. Wifi speed seemed slow.

I`ve stayed at The Wilton in the past. I`m a birdwatcher and Weymouth has several reserves locally plus Portland close by. This time I came with 2 birding colleagues. We had the twin room (Nothe) and double room (Weymouth). Each were en-suite, very clean and tidy, comfy beds, a fridge, TV, and adequate wardrobe/storage space. Room only so no breakfast but this was not a problem for us, supermarkets and Greggs nearby supplying breakfasts from 7 am. Wilton is close to the town centre so plenty of pubs and eating places can be found. Sarah the host is very welcoming. So what`s not to like ?

No parking available outside the property or within a courtyard. There is a car park in the next street which offers free overnight parking ( 6 pm to 8 am). No real problem but it means you have to move your optical equipment in and out as leaving them in the car in a town car park is not recommended.

The location was great in relation to the beach & pedestrianised high street. Never judge a book by its cover. The property outside is a little tired but the accommodation its self is homely and good. Well appointed for a self catering unit with an abundance of kitchen equipment. The building is quirky, but what you'd expect of a fistoric property like this.

The room and facilities were excellent. Check in was simple. The communication was excellent and friendly. Great access to public transport and less than 2 minutes walk to the beach. I would recommend this establishment with full confidence.

There were a lot of stairs to my accommodation which was not an issue for me but there are lower floors for anyone for whom this may be an issue.
