All Seasons Guest House

We stayed between the 1st and 3rd Sept 2021 in room 1. Everything about our stay was great - really all guest houses should be like this! Chris was really friendly and we checked into our room straight away - he also gave great guidance on local free parking which we managed with no issues (outside the guesthouse in day time this is limited to a hour but plenty of time to unload). The location is great at the top of Windermere town - a stone's throw from the railway station which also serves as a hub for local buses. An easy stroll down to Bowness or use a day pass on the 599 bus, The room itself was small (as advertised!) but not cramped and the en-suite was clean and a good size. Everything was clean and some really nice touches - the tap on/off lamps were great - and the coffees/teas replenished. A pair of wine glasses also arrived which was a really nice surprise - thank you! Check out was easy and no problem. A breakfast can be ordered the night before but we didn't use this so cannot comment. All guesthouses should be like this. Superb.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and courteous. Breakfasts now being offered were very good. Really fresh smelling sheets. Proximity to train and bus was excellent.

Only that the room was sometimes a little chilly.

I booked extremely last minute which did not seem to pose an issue for the owners. The booking was processed so promptly with information regarding key location, parking and access. It was extremely clear and so easy to find the location and find a park. Key in the key box and no issues finding our very clean and well appointed room.

We loved the location in Windermere, perfectly situated and easy to access from the train station. The large double room with en suite was comfortable and spacious - exactly what we needed for our 4 night stay. The hosts had great communication via text and everything was smooth regarding a contactless check in and check out.

The room had a tendency to be very warm - a small fan would be a worthwhile investment. A mini fridge would also be a great addition on slightly longer stays, even if offered at extra cost as an optional item. There was quite a lot of noise from the street with cars, lorries and bins being taken out - not that it can be helped but worth knowing.

Lovely, very clean cosy room. Had everything you need. Fab Location only 2mins from bus station.

The rooms were immaculate. Great location. Perfect for a weekend away. We did briefly meet the owner and she was polite and helpful. I'd text for an iron which was set up for me and allowed us to leave our bags while we had last walk around before getting the train home

Was disappointed as had read reviews on what great hosts and breakfast, but due to covid it was contactless and no breakfast. But under current circumstances understandable

it was very clean, spotless even. The lady who runs the place was very friendly and welcoming and accommodates my needs. Location was great, close to restaurants and walking distance to the lake.

the bed mattress wasn't as comfy as I would of liked personally but it was clean and lots of pillows.

The property was in the perfect location being a short walk from the train station and main bus stop. The room was meticulously clean, the breakfast delicious, and Michelle was an absolute delight. I could have stayed there for another week at least!

Very clean comfortable guest house , the proprietors were very friendly and helpful and as requested left a box of chocolates and a lovely bouquet of flowers . The guest house is in an excellent place and very close to all amenities . Overall a wonderful stay !

The only slight negative was that breakfast wasn't available in the establishment due to the unfortunate circumstances of covid but Michelle and Chris were helpful in saying there were many places to go very close by .

would of chosen the double room not the family due to limited head room, husband has a broken neck so can’t bend it, and we couldn’t sit up in bed to have morning cup, but again clean and hygienic
