Excellent - everything you need for a break and very clean (the one thing I always look for)! Starbucks coffee pods, hot chocolate, tea and water in the fridge. Location was great and John the owner let us check in early, which was a bonus as it was raining. I had read a couple of reviews about breakfast, but the booking made it clear it wasn’t included, with it being bang in the centre it’s surrounded by cafes. I would recommend home ground for breakfast, that’s where we went….it was beautiful

it’s such a lovely and cosy little guest house which is right on the door step of Windermere and a short walk away from Bowness! I’ve stayed here twice now and highly reccomend

The location was great, the room was lovely and clean. We were visiting for a wedding over the bank Holiday weekend. All of the taxi companies were fully booked, and the owner went out of his way to drop us off at the wedding!

cleanness and the location. one of my best accommodation in UK. And the best boutique hotel I have ever had. John the owner is so friendly and helpful. My whole family was so satisfied and delighted I can find this place. 100% recommended!! Close to the town centre but also quiet at night!

I thought I paid for our breakfasts but in the morning there wasn’t any which was disappointing but everything else was top drawer, would go back again but with no breakfasts should be a bit cheaper 👍

The room was exceptional, clean, comfy with everything we needed. Loved the little Beatrix Potter theme of Peter Rabbit too. Location was perfect. Parking was very close too. Will definitely book to stay again.
It's not that we didn't like anything, but the TV didn't have any channels and the WiFi hub was unplugged that was outside our room. Not sure if it was unplugged for a reason so didn't want to mess with anything that obviously wasn't our belongings. So we were not sure if the reason we didn't have any TV was because of the Internet being plugged in. The price of £140 wasn't too over priced but would have loved it to have been closer to £110.
