Staybridge Suites - Auburn - University Area, an IHG Hotel

Large new appearing hotel. Everything was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. We got a great room on the top floor. Very minimal noise from outside or the hallways. The room was large and very comfortable bathroom also large and comfortable all the extra amenities in the kitchen and bathroom that you would expect, lots of shampoo, conditioner, and even hand lotion . Breakfast had a great selection a little something for everybody. Pool looked really nice but did not use it.

I can’t think of anything I did not like. Hors d’oeuvres were served in the evening and I missed the main ones and just some broccoli and cheese was left. However, after a day of eating few vegetables, they were very good.

The hotel has everything you need for a short-term or long-term stay. The staff was friendly, and the room was spacious so everyone could spread out. The pool, patio/outdoor space was great for guests to be social and relax. The eating area/bar/lounge was great for mingling and hanging out. They had great happy hour and appetizers Monday-Wednesday, and breakfast was different every day, so there was a variety. I would stay again and recommend it for traveling with a family or for business.

we were greeted well, and we were surprised on the comfort and cleanness of the room which I thought was a great deal on value as well. the breakfast had variety and it was quit delicious.

The only downside is when I was getting breakfast. The security guard was right behind me, looking at my every move, which made me feel very uncomfortable. And for some reason he was only doing it with my husband and I not with everyone else. That was the only thing that I do not like it just made me feel very anxious and upset which was the first experience for me.

The second night we came in that was the 20th of May our key wouldn't work. I went down stairs to the front desk the clerk had to check us out then check us back in. She was not a friendly person. The rest of your staff was very helpful with check in and great with letting us in on the great restaurants around town. Over all it was a excellent stay and would definitely stay there again.

Mary was very friendly and helpful checking us in. Although we had to wait a bit while she checked in a small group that was ahead of us, Mary apologized to us several times. The room was way more than we expected, it was very nice! The breakfast was very good. Betty kept the area clean, stocked with food, and she was very friendly, too!

Not a big deal, but it would be nice to have a few more handicap parking spaces near the entrance.

I loved how clean our room was. The breakfast was great. The bartender Marcus Tyson was very nice and courteous and my drink was very good.

The night front desk worker was very rude when I complained about noise above us when trying to sleep. And when called to ask for things or just ask a question their customer service needs to be better in response. And not being rude for asking a question. I have worked at a hotel and the front desk customer service needs a lot of work of not being rude.

THE STAFF AND OFFICE ATTENDANT WAS SO CORDIAL AND PROFESSIONAL. THE ROOM WAS INCREDIBLE!! CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL, 100+ CHANNELS, SPACIOUS! SO NICE!

My only complaint is I prefer a spray shower head with handle sprayer.. that's my ONLY complaint. It's just a nicer option for the guest and for the cleaning staff. But the details of the room and design of the hotel was perfect.

The hotel was immaculately clean! It was in a great location, too.

I didn’t like the pillows….at all. I had reserved a room with two queen beds, but when I got to the room it was a king. I did not want to sleep with someone that was with me, so I asked to change to what I reserved. I was then charged a $50 upgrade. I didn’t understand that!

warm & inviting from entrance to exit. friendly staff from front counter to janitor closet. probity to a smorgasbord of eateries w/some walking distance. full bar w/happy hour. pool side veranda w/easy use gas grill of which our room overlooked kitchenette feed a little league football team…amazing!

the noise level across from my room from another guest party as well as activity from the guest(s) above my room.

Great breakfast, super clean room and very comfy bed! The pillows weren't so big that you couldn't sleep on them. Love the seating area in the back courtyard. 1

Strange that there was no ice machine for guest use.
