The Hotel at Auburn University

Always a great location on Campus for our Senior Student, so we walk to lots of places the 3 day weekend.

No phone calls (2) were answered on check in day, but thankfully Saved by the text message system that is in place. The room key didn't work for an outside door the second night, returning from parking garage. We walked to the front door, thankful the door worked the next night. The printer didn't work at checkout for a copy of our charges from a single day breakfast and parking lot for three days. A few hiccups but a good stay .

the location next to the university and walking distance of downtown restaurants and bars. it had daily housekeeping which was nice, and they brought fresh water bottles and new coffee espresso cups everyday. the location is unbeatable and no one does it better than Auburn University hotel.

the price was super high for the comparable nearby, ended up waiting for a price drop for 179/night was like 500/night on the weekend and staying an earlier date at a holiday inn express till the drop. this place beat holiday inn by miles when it comes to quality. it also had showers they never got more than lukewarm and there was only breakfast to be purchased at the restaurant in the lobby, it encouraged me to get coffee and food at Starbucks because of limited time in the morning. the construction noise during the day was a bit much with sidewalks closed but it’s soon going to be completed and looks amazing. cannot wait to stay again.

Very clean. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The location was great for touring the campus.

After driving a long distance and checking in at 10:30, hungry and tired we get to our room with a paper under the door telling us that we won’t have water for several hours starting in less than an hour. After rushing showers and walking to get food it was after midnight before even getting in bed. While we didn’t have a sign on the door, housekeeping knocking at 8 was a little much when check out is at noon.

Room was good and comfortable, the bar was a very pleasant place to sit and sink a few beers, in fact the overall ambience of the hotel is very good. There was good food which was reasonably priced and the restaurant had a good atmosphere and the staff were super helpful. This was the best of the hotels we've enjoyed whilst in the States and I'd certainly head back if the chance arose.

We only stayed one night, so can't comment on many of the facilities, but the room was a good size, clean and well-appointed, however, we had a room with a connecting door which let in a lot of noise from the room next to us, which was the only blot on the stay.

I really enjoyed the hotel & the stay in Auburn & loved that campus was just across the street.

The only thing that bothered me was that when I was packing up to leave, I went down to get a luggage cart & the valets only had one cart available. When I checked in, I was able to use a cart as several carts were available. I understand that they want to make money on tips, but I just like to handle my own bags & take my time loading the car. When I asked if there were any available carts, the young man acted like valet was the only option. I could be wrong, but it felt like any extra carts were purposely put away. Other than that, everything was perfect.

All staff members were very helpful. Probably, students only, that is good because all talks were enthusiastic. Comfortable big bed and a big size shower.

In my room, there was no carpet on the floor. Barefoot walking was very unpleasant. Loud air conditioner.

We booked a room for two nights but unfortunately couldn’t make it the first night. The hotel has an awesome feature where you can text the front desk with questions and comments. We did that and they did not charge us for the first nights stay and when we did make it in (around 10 AM the next day) we were pleasantly surprised that they made a better room available to us since the one we booked wasn’t available yet. It’s a beautiful hotel done very well. Great staff. Great food. I’ll be staying here when in Auburn going forward.

Very clean and comfortable room. Easy check in and check out.

I missed that I would be paying for parking. Also, we arrived at 10pm and there was not much available for a snack/beverage. We caught the bar as it was closing and we’re told we could get a glass of wine to take to our room, and it ended up being $15 for the glass! We couldn’t find a snack vending machine.

It was the basketball tournament and Auburn was playing. Having some larger tv’s to watch the game would have been very nice. Even our in the lobby or down the hallway. I would pay attention to our schedule next year and plan for TVs if we are in the tournament.

Excellent hotel atmosphere with great view from 5th floor. Rooms were clean and spacious, even for a family of four. The large television with personalized greeting was well received. Very classy hotel. Would highly recommend.

Parking fees were unexpected and increased my cost of the trip; this needs to be emphasized at booking. Fresh coffee was available on the ground floor for an added cost. Complimentary coffee in the room is nice but does not meet my expectation.
