DoubleTree Birmingham Perimeter Park

The hotel was very nice and clean. Employees were very kind. The bathroom was really nice and updated. The location was perfect for easy in and out access and several great restaurants and activities to do.

We were there for an appointment for my 9 year old son and we choose a hotel with a swimming pool. He was excited to get to swim, but the pool was not very well maintained. There was nice seating around the pool though.

The Appearance of the lobby was not what I am accustomed to for this to be a Hilton. it was drab, no color, no good restaurant, no enticing amenities. The Shower floor was ugly. The Ring Mirror kep moving down as I was trying to apply my make up.

Bed was comfortable. Customer Service was adequate rather than outstanding. They got you in and out quickly, friendly but the atmosphere was just not up to par. Bland color, no pretty plants or pretty furniture, rugs etc

The low key vibe. There was plenty of space. You didn’t feel cluttered. There was a bar, a kitchen and a grab and go. The room was spacious as well. There was both a refrigerator and microwave. Very close to everything. Prime location.

The room had a stuffy scent that lingered. The patio area and furniture by the pool needed to be power washed. The light in the bathroom is not very bright and it’s misleading.

My stay there was made exceptional by a front desk employee or manager by the name of Roben. The original room I was given had mold in the shower. Once we called the front desk about it, Roben came up and switched us to a different room (prettier view). His attitude and attentiveness made my stay there great!

The location was nice and the rooms were very clean and spacious.

The only thing that was inconvenient was that there wasn’t a microwave in the room and if we wanted to reheat something at late hours we would have to walk to the cafeteria.

I really like the friendliness of the staff. I also like the location of the hotel. The room was clean and a nice size.

The bathroom was a little small. They also didn't have a microwave in the rooms. Lastly, I think the Hilton app key could work a little bit more sufficient.

Did not eat breakfast.

I realized that Booking.com does a lousy job of communicating with us, the customer. The problem I had was with you, Booking.com. Through the text method, I asked for another night to be added to my stay and heard nothing back from you! I did this at least 3 times.

The location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They’re also keeping the distancing policies in affect as well.

The only suggestion that I can give is this. After every two guest. Have housekeeping to really deep clean the bathroom. Take time and clean with Clorox. Lysol is good but people would rather know that the bathroom is clean. Scrub the shower/tub. I clean two buildings a next. One is a doctors office. So, trust me. Smelling Clorox in a bathroom is key. A soft scent. The floral scent isn’t over baring.

Slept so well, we almost forgot we weren’t at home! Rooms were beautiful and the staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. It was our first time staying in a DoubleTree Hotel, but definitely won’t be our last!

It wasn’t that big of a deal, but the only thing that was a slight disappointment was the coffee selection in the room. We wanted make coffee before heading out, but there was only one regular coffee packet so we opted to wait.

The desk clerk that worked on Saturday morning was not very pleasant, I called & she picked up the phone & didn’t even say a word ~ I had to say ‘Hello’ 3 times before I got an answer. There were not any microwave in the room & the one in the Market Place was filthy. There were kids running around the property & no one monitoring them {security or chaperones} there wasn’t any parking spots available bc of trailers & trucks, don’t you have designated areas for that?
