Clean, comfortable space. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Honestly, I didn’t have any issues with the property. However, while the hotel was advertised as pet-friendly, the pet fee was much higher than anything I’ve paid elsewhere ($75 vs. $25 or $30). I know these policies exist to protect the hotel, but it makes more sense to charge a deposit or bill for damage after it actually occurs. Our dog has three legs and we keep him confined to a small area to prevent him from additional injuries. Obviously, hotel staff/management can’t know this, but it still feels like we’re being punished for others’ negligence.

I've never stayed at a Sonesta Property before and was pleasantly surprised with just about everything! The location was close to the airport which made it easy to catch an early morning flight. The cleanliness and comfort was exceptional.

Performance wise, nothing. First impression when you walk in a see the low ceiling area near the registration area, it gives the impression of a much cheaper, less favorable/desirable location. In fact, initially it made me question my decision. However, once I got past that initial reaction, the rest was fine.

It was neat, clean and pretty close to the hot spots on central Alabama, like Hwy 280 and Hoover. The plaza right down the street on Colonnade Pkwy has a LOT there to get involved with, like eating or a little shopping. The closest outlet to the hotel is only 2 minutes away, being The Summit and only 15 minutes away from Outlets of Grand River. It's a good place to stay for sure!

The WiFi was wonky as heck; you can connect to it fairly easily but actually getting to the Sonesta page to accept the terms to get access was just a hassle. Your phone will register the browse as "unsafe" and will try to keep you from going to the terms agreement page. So, getting on the WiFi was a hassle and also, no microwave in the room - what's that about??

All of the staff at the front desk was helpful and pleasant.

There was a language barrier with housekeeping and although I’d asked for the room to be cleaned (really just needed the trash removed and more clean towels), that didn’t happen. I eventually went to find housekeeping and basically nodded and smiled while retrieving my own towels because I wasn’t understood by anyone in the room.

The staff was very friendly and our room had a small balcony for us to sit out on.

Our first room had a malfunctioning lock. Upon returning to our room after a late night out, the lock would not open at all. The staff member could not get it open and had to give us a different room for the night...without our belongings. Thankfully, someone came early the next morning and we were able to stay in the new room since the old room's lock was still malfunctioning.

Cleanliness, comfortable bed

Secluded and pricey not to offer breakfast even though there is a very nice eating area in the hotel.. . Many excuses for no breakfast. Eating place close by but not I walking distance. No shower gel in dispenser, itty bitty soap bar for showering.

The staff was delightful! My first visit there; but they were all so nice. They impressed me to the point; I let them choose a donut from my box I got from Hero. They were grateful.

I was disappointed with the LACK of breakfast. It looked like you could order something: but no one was there to order from. So just got coffee & went somewhere else for breakfast.

Safe location, staff was very friendly.

The beds were doubles, not queen, which I knew based on the booking but seems strange for a family room. Breakfast was limited to bacon, sausage, and eggs with orange juice. There was no milk, or butter for toast, and we were not allowed to eat the cereal.

It is amazing that a hotel would not have coffee in lobby outside the coffee shop hours. People on business who get up between 0500-0700 or arrive after a late flight and have work to finish are very low maintenance travelers, pay well and are often repeat customers. Is coffee really too much to ask? In room coffee sucks. Heck just have the coffee shop leave some out. Have the night shift employee make it in the early morning instead of play on the computer. Remove it when the coffee shop opens. Pretend like you care.

The Hotel was very nice ! A inside pool is always a plus , and the overall staff was very nice and had Great customer service!!

The Only problem was not having working ice maker on my floor , but it's cool though , because when I call the front desk they provided me with the ice I needed
