Hilton Garden Inn Prescott Downtown, Az

This property is absolutely gorgeous from the natural landscape at the rear of the hotel, the restaurant and bar area, and details in our corner view room. The room was clean, the patio was awesome, and the shower was like getting a massage due to the water pressure. It was a quick, relaxing one night stay and my husband and I are already planning our next trip to this hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to some outstanding restaurants on Whiskey Row and there is a nice stream and walking and biking trail behind the property that is easily accessible.

If I had one thing to complain about, it would be the mattress. It was mostly comfortable, however it felt like I could feel some springs when laying on my side.

The location is walking distance to Whiskey Row and a shopping center across the street. The facilities were nice and clean from inside to outside. The staff was great, they have good customer service and recommended awesome hiking trails near by. No joke, the guy cleaning the parking kept the curb appeal looking clean. I would definitely recommend this place for a getaway with a partner or with the little ones.

They don’t really monitor the guest parking too much or unless it that was busy but the guest parking lot was full all the time.

The property it wonderful! Close to downtown, within walking distance. The food here was fantastic and the weather was great for outdoor activities. I noticed a card on the table that offered foam pillows and extra blankets. I didn’t use that service but at other stays I have needed these items and I thought it was a nice touch. I will definitely look for these properties in the future.

I loved that the hotel is right next to downtown and one of the best perks is that the hotel has an electric car charger in the lot!! Keep that charger working, sometimes those things not working and they don't get repaired quickly enough. For me, having a working car charger was the deal breaker for me, however, when I got to my room, I was VERY pleased!! You pay for what you get in life, and the Hilton Garden Inn Prescott Downtown was well worth what we paid.

I would like to be able to open the windows... for some fresh Prescott air

The front desk, especially Alex, Sophie and Jess, are phenomenal. Actually, everyone (and I'm sorry I didn't get their names) is terrific. It doesn't matter when we check-in, request extra towels or check-out, they make us and our 2 dogs feel valued and appreciated. Although we could easily stay somewhere else in Prescott, we choose to stay at the Hilton because it's just become our home away from home. The peep hole cover and extra locks on the door are good for added security. I do wish though, that there was some way to only allow people to get access to their floor by keying in their card at the elevator. Here's a thought: A key card that when you swipe it, only gives the guest(s) permission to enter the elevator and automatically take them up to the floor the room is on. Bonus: no need to touch those elevator buttons. We appreciated your cleaning staff so much, we made sure to leave them an envelope of gratuity in our room. Steve was always vacuuming and he is just the kindest and hardest-working man around. What a joy. The entire cleaning crew from 2/13 - 2/17 made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. What a great cleaning team you have there @ the Hilton. Your coffee gets an A grade. Thanks for installing the coffee machine and maintaining it so it keeps putting out great java when we're hankering for a hot cup of Joe.

The rooms need more hooks to hang our towels on, either in the bathroom or just outside the bathroom. Although the hotel restaurant has pretty good food, the menu needs better desserts. Cookies and milk would be wonderful, especially if we could bring it up to our room.

Breakfast was excellent; staff and service excellent; location excellent; facility is very nice and comfortable.

The AC units in the rooms are a bit low tech - tends to get too cold, turns off by sensor, gets too warm, turns back on, etc. They should try to upgrade the system that it keeps a more consistent room temperature. But it wasn't a big deal.

Super clean, staff was super nice up front!

I had asked for a late checkout, they only gave me 30 extra minutes (i know a late checkout isn’t a guarantee but 30 minutes really didn’t do much for me after a late night of work) and housekeeping came knocking very loudly on the door at 10am to “check on us” then walked right in, even tho we had our do not disturb sign up. If it wasn’t for that, stay would’ve been a 10/10

Very clean, beautiful room and bathroom. Comfortable chairs. We had a nice view of the woods from our fourth floor room. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Excellent restaurant too. Location was perfect for visiting Whiskey Row and Sharlot Hall Museum.

We selected this hotel based on the fact that it was the newest one in Prescott. I have a bad back and need a good mattress. We had two queen beds in our room and had to get up in the middle of the night to try the other bed because we were rolling together in the first one. The other bed was a little better. I expected much better mattress for the money and the Hilton name.

The lighting in the bathroom, the comfortable beds, the fact that you accepted pets, and the lobby.

- A month+ prior, when booking the reservation, I specifically asked for a top floor away from the street. We got neither, so between the hotel guests stomping around above us and the street noise, our stay wasn't as relaxing as we expected. - The room needs more hooks in the bathroom! We need a place to hang our towels! - The room assigned to us wasn't cleaned very well. We take off our shoes and wear socks around the room, but the carpet definitely wasn't vacuumed very well and the tile floor hadn't been swabbed at all. When I spilled some water near the microwave, wiping it up produced a very filthy result! EW! Attention to cleaning detail doesn't match the high cost of the room nor the name "Hilton Suites".

The location was fantastic for our purposes of being within walking distance of the historic district and a short drive from several hiking trails. The creek running next to the hotel was charming. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and modern, and the room was spacious.

We found the beds to be too firm for us. But, that's really a preference.
