DoubleTree by Hilton Hot Springs

Beautiful hotel, the rooms are nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable furniture and the bathroom(shower) was designed gorgeously. We fell in love with the shower, wish that would work in our house. The hotel staff was professional, along with guests who were courtesy. We loved the Crabtree products, this was the first time had used that brand and we are tempted to order on Amazon.

The dinner menu did not offer much. We only ate breakfast there once, in which the food was good. I totally understand the cost of a hotel operating a restaurant. I do not think operating a restaurant would be cost efficient for this hotel.

Very clean and the staff were helpful. The hotel was kid friendly and we loved the salt water pool will most definitely stay here again

The gentleman, that was working the front desk when I arrived, appeared to be intoxicated. There was a room full of people waiting to check-in and the employee was slurring his speech, eyes were bloodshot, he spoke in circles with the customer he was currently assisting, and his body language was very unprofessional. The MOD had to come assist other customers to clear the wait out. I did request a lake view room but did not receive. My significant other was celebrating a milestone birthday and would have appreciated the view.

We had a balcony suite and even though we were on the roadside of the hotel we still had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. Our bed was plush and the shower was one of my favorites from the hotels we’ve stayed in. Both desk attendants were wonderful during our stay, we absolutely loved Billy and he gave us great recommendations of where we could go in town or things we could do.

The bathroom has a sliding glass door. While the restaurant breakfast was delicious it’s not included in the stay. It was good but I definitely recommend stopping by The English Muffin across the street if you’re going to be buying it anyways.

I loved how classy the property felt, I have never stayed in a place that felt this nice for this price! The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever had. The staff in the lobby were great and so was the bar tender, everyone was very nice and helpful with anything we asked! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

I wish we could pick the room side on the hotel, we really wanted the view from the back of the hotel, but the view from our balcony got some of the lake as well!!

I have stayed at the Doubletree before and at this location. I always like the accommodations and the staff are very helpful and courteous.

They charged my credit card for smoking incidentals and I don't smoke. When I called to ask about the extra charges the clerk was very pleasant until I asked about the extra charges. He said it was reported by housekeeping that my room smelled like smoke. I was concerned that I was never asked about or notified of this. I'm not saying the customer is always right but I should've been given a chance to either explain or be notified.i was very disappointed in this lack of customer consideration and the way I was just dismissed by the clerk. I dont think I will be using Doubletree anymore.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. The hotel has an onsite restaurant and a bar. The rooms are quite spacious. The view from the room was amazing. The room has a fridge and a microwave. It also has a coffee maker and free coffee and tea. The beds are quite comfortable. Overall a good room.

The room does not have a desk that you can use to work. Although it has a small work space, the space is quite insufficient as the coffee maker will be on your way. The bathtub did not drain the water. When we asked the front desk, no one bothered to come and fix it. Other than that nothing else to complain about.

I like the location. It has the view of the lake and straight shot to Oaklawn Casino. It has restaurants just across the streets where you can eat a hearty breakfast meal and just drive 3 minutes across the lake you can eat at a seafood restaurant with a lake view. There are shopping centers and other restaurants just 5 minutes away from the hotel. It is not far from the National Park too.

We opted for the room with the balcony but the space is tight outside. Just enough for the two chairs to fit in.

The balcony, King Room was great and the bed very comfortable. Huge Glass & Granite Shower was beautiful. The location on the Lake shore was great, with caveats.

1) The Lake View was disrupted by a house & its owner mowing his lawn just below us on the lake shore in-between the hotel and the lake shore. So no direct access to the Lake from the Hotel. [I understand it is a legacy thing but none of the literature mentioned it, and I had to pay extra for it]. 2) We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, as the restaurant was very underwhelming, limited menu. Needs to be a little more inviting, it seems cold and sterile, too open to the Lobby space. We ate at Luna Bella: great Italian Restaurant nearby.
