Lotus by Hotel Inn - Hot Springs

When I made my reservations online the night before I assumed it was confirmed since I did receive a confirmation number through my email... Luckily the next day Shela texted me and let me know I did have to call her back and confirm my stay in order for me to be assured I would have a room. When I called her back she gave me clear instructions on how I would be billed and about the $50 deposit I had to pay also, she explained why they were charging me a deposit and what needs to be done for me to get it back. When I arrived to check in she greeted me in a very friendly manner, she was training an employee on the check in process and asked for a little patience. She explained how the hotel is under new management or owners and how it is still in the process of being remodeled, my room had a bullet hole in the window which did make me nervous at first but she assured me I was safe since there is security at all times, and that incident occured before they took over the hotel. It was motorcycle weekend and she also let me know it would be a little noisy but she asked them to be respectful and keep the noise down after 10pm. Our room and the bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfy and the hotel is conviniently located close to downtown and to many restaurants and a gas station.

Great location and value! Comfortable bed, very clean. It is an older motel, so keep that in mind for your expectations. Excellent staff & service!! Free on site parking. We take our bikes so that we can go to the historic district and not have to deal with the on street parking mayhem. We were there over the 4th of July. The hotel was full, but patrons were not noisy and the cleaning staff refreshed our room the next morning. This was our second time staying at the Lotus, and we have been very happy with it!

It is an older facility. So some things show wear, but it is clean and comfortable.

The staff was amazing. I'd say the facade is in desperate need of paint and water damage repairs but the hotel makes sure to overcompensate in service quality for the money value. I am always going for closest property for best value while on vacation and this hotel delivers both value and great supervision of the customer rooms for security which we needed since I was on vacation with my young son. If you're looking for everything great in a hotel other than visual presentation then this one is the best.

Everything was great

The location was convenient as it was about midway between downtown Hot Springs and uptown. During the heat of summer the air conditioner worked great. Sheets looked clean and white and towels were fully stocked. Floors were cleaned. And reserving online I was able to get a web discount. Check in and out were pretty quick and easy.

There was a spot on the bedspread and once I saw it I couldn't unsee it. Not necessarily the spread dirty just noticed the spot. Also the bath tub could use a refinishing looks like spots from old peel and stick strips to keep you from slipping. Room need an air freshener or something just to improve the overall smell.

The hotel, upon first sight honestly had me worried. But our room was amazing...Tons of space, super clean and the bed was so comfortable! Location was within walking distance of down town. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The price was perfect for our budget.

The exterior was a little ran down and could use a fresh coat of paint. There was construction going on and the parking lot was a little junked up.

The folks there were very kind and helpful. The room was clean, and the hotel was easy to locate. It was a good hotel for the price, and they made my stay very easy. I would happily stay there again the next time I visit Hot Springs.

The wifi was weak, but this was the only problem I had. Some guests may be upset that they did have maid service everyday, though I preferred it this way. It’s also nothing to look at from the outside, but again, this wasn’t problematic for me personally.

great location, best staff/owner/employees ever. so accommodating and friendly. would do anything to make your stay great and on the ball with extra towels, coffee etc.

wish the room was a bit more updated but was clean and comfortable bed and wish there would’ve been a floor towel for when you got outta shower. I felt bad using a good towel.

The staff were kind and you could tell they took pride in their business.

It is a bit run down which was to be expected for the price but everything in the room worked albeit the internet could probably use an upgrade. Biggest complaint is our room was adjacent to another with the shared door for someone who books two rooms. This wouldn't have been an issue except there is a 1.5 inch gap under the doors. Ended up stuffing a towel under it so I could have more privacy.

The carpet was awfully dirty, as well as the tub. The rooms needs updating very badly. Ms. Sandy was extremely helpful and nice. We were on the main street to everywhere we wanted to go. It's located in a quiet spot an the beds were very comfortable.. Thank you Ms. Sandy for your hospitality
