Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hot Springs, an IHG Hotel

I was blown away by how nice and extremely clean this facility was. Not sure when it was built but it has been maintained very well and seemed new. Front desk staff was very polite and cordial and I made sure to tell him later in the evening that this was the nicest Holiday Inn Express I had ever been to .

Not a thing could have been better. Breakfast selection was fine, the facility was easy to find and convenient to everything and I can’t say enough how clean and well maintained this place was!

I arrived early and was able to get a room without waiting. The staff was really friendly and told us of things to do and see while there. The breakfast was really good there was plenty to choose from and it was warm and fresh. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were amazing. I appreciate that you have good smelling body wash, shampoo and lotion not the cheap stinking kind most have.

We booked this hotel because my mother required a pool for health reasons. However, our first day the pool water had been shocked. Supposed to be available later. Never opened. Next day we wanted to swim, however pool was still closed. Later in the day we inquired and they opened the pool. The water was "murkey". We were told they had run out of chlorine. We swim anyway. However, on the way into the pool the rail fell off and into the pool. Unfortunately my mother also fell with the rail. Again the following day we tried to use the pool, again the water was not clean. We went out to the patio and sat i n the sun. When we tried to return the door was locked and our key would not open the door. I could go on, but what would be the point?

The property and rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. We’ve stayed a a few hotels and these were definitely the best as far as bed comfort. The breakfast was good. Healthy options were good! Fitness center was definitely one of the best of hotels gyms we’ve been too. Free weights to 50lbs, the treadmill was very good! loved having a incline bench. Made modifications easy!

Pool was very disappointing. Very small for the size of the hotel. way over chlorinated, so much I didn’t get in. The room was a little small for the price.

Close to many conveniences. Modern, clean building with yummy breakfast and friendly staff. Nice room furniture and excellent shower and bathroom. Amazing shower! I even took a picture of the shower head!

We are late sleepers and we’re on vacation. It would be nice if a few muffins or dainishes could be available a little later than 9:30. Other than that, all was well.

The food was good. We liked the different options that were made available for breakfast each morning. There was something for everyone and nobody left hungry.

We had the suite with the kitchenette. It would have been nice if there had been a cooktop and dishes available. Also, a blanket for the pullout sofa would have been helpful as well.

The king bed was soooo comfy!! The room and everywhere in the hotel were well kept and very clean!! They kept really good coffee out the entire stay!!

The pool was a little cold so we didn't get to swim and we had wanted to. They never lit the outdoor fireplace which we wanted to sit by because it would have been nice. They did not serve the usual holiday Inn pancakes and the cinnamon rolls weren't warm. Seemed They were frozen and left out to thaw then put out for breakfast.

The rooms were big and spacious. The breakfast was fresh and had a huge variety. The personnel in the breakfast was very friendly and provided everything with a smile!

I wish they were asking all visitors to wear masks. We saw many in the elevators, in the line for breakfast and entering the hotel without masks.

Loved the hot tub in our room! Breakfast was great! Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Quiet.

The room temperature was a little crazy. One minute the unit would blow out cold air to the point of needing to put a coat on. The next it would blow out hot air to the point of sweating in a T-shirt. We couldn't find a happy medium. We had the temperature set at 72 degrees, but experienced wild fluctuations from too hot to too cold.
