The Pacific Inn

This hotel seems like your normal, run of the mill renovated motel but then! Stay a few hours and you realize the staff is VERY helpful and friendly, the coffee/hot cocoa maker in the lobby is AMAZING, and they have done a lot to make the hotel visitor-oriented. They have 24/7 text concierge services. I used this to ask for a late check out when my infant daughter’s nap ran long and their approval was prompt and kind. And I think this is very indicative of their focus: rather than cancel their breakfast service because it’s harder to do now, they’ve make it covid-compliant: individually packaged muffins, bagels, bread slices, cereal boxes, etc. and then they would set out individual servings of their hot meal, which had eggs of some kind (omelette or scrambled while we were there), breakfast potatoes, and a meat (we had sausage and ham). The room was very comfortable and updated. My 4 year old loved that they had a clothes line we could hang our beach stuff on. Last but not least: the location was excellent!!! Main Street in Seal Beach has lots of cute shops and restaurants, culminating in the pier and beach and this is maybe 4-5 min walk away? It was so fun and so convenient with our two kids to just walk back to the hotel rather than drive and find parking and get our car all sandy, etc.

The flower beds on the 2nd floor of the hotel were all dried up and dead (could have just been the season? But they looked like weeds). The a/c could’ve been a bit cooler (we had to keep it on the lowest setting to combat the humidity). The towels were thin. Was a little pricy for an update motel ($200+/night) BUT we booked last minute and after our stay, we were glad we paid extra and stayed here!

This place is a hidden gem! Warm cookies upon check in was a great start... my kiddos loved it! And the staff here is truly amazing - everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the family suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. Wonderful selection for breakfast: eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juices, etc. The breakfast room was very busy every morning we were there, and the hostess did a fantastic job of keeping everything stocked. We also liked the heated pool - it was very nice and clean. The jacuzzi is under construction though, so that was a little bit of a bummer. .

Location is amazing, just a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. Seal beach is very safe and clean with tons of cool shops and restaurants. The property is located about 5 blocks from the beach another short walk. The check in and out was amazing with the staff being very friendly. We had our small dog with us and they treated him as one of the vip guest. Will stay here again. LOVED IT!

I can not think of one thing to say bad about this place. Everything was perfect including the breakfast in the mornings.

Perfect location and plenty of street parking available. Every room has a balcony. The pool, hot tub, and breakfast were great. Plenty of restaurants, liquor stores, etc. within walking distance. A short 4 block walk to the beach/pier. We loved it!

The property isn't new or ritzy. The Four Seasons it's not....but it was perfect for us. Clean, well-run, Seal Beach city motel. It's on the bus line if you care to travel north to Long Beach or south to Huntington Beach.

We LOVED the coffee machine and free freshly baked cookies in the lobby. Our room overlooked where we parked and was right across the street from a little doggie potty area. A short 10 minute walk to the beach as well. The staff was super friendly.

I never got my deposit back and we left the room in prestine condition. We even stripped the beds and left a tip. I clean houses so I always want to make certain I'm helpful to the maids.

Free breakfast was very good . balcony,microwave, jacuzzi tub/shower with very hot water and fridge. comfortable beds. Family suite is spot on. separate sofa bed/tv/dining table/balcony and 2 comfortable lounge chairs with ottomans. u can lock the door from the other 2 beds for a little bit of quality time with your mate. proximity to Huntington Beach and The Aquarium of the Pacific was ideal. That was the purpose of our stay.

Not fancy at all. But not too shabby either. pool was smaller than it seemed in the picture. good for small kids tho. Hot tub/jacuzzi next to it was very nice.

The staff at Pacific Inn were very friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel even provided beach equipment for us including surfing boogie boards. Wow! For British guests, the hotel EVEN HAD MARMALADE available at the breakfast bar. Wow! This indicates some effort at thoughtfulness at this hotel. I should mention that parking and room wifi was complimentary, unlike in some other establishments we visited (where we felt nickel and dimed a lot of the time). Thank you.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was superb. Just a short walk to the beach. The room was confirsrbke and met our basic needs. Nice bathroom, additional sink outside bathroom and mini fridge. The large breakfast had many options and was a great start to the day so we could get to adventuring. Also close to popular beaches, Long, Huntington and Santa Monica.

We were very pleased.

Staff was extremely helpful, professional and always had a smile. Also I had a king bed so comfortable and I have a spinal injury. Water pressure amazing even at 10am. The offer pump shampoo conditioner shower gel. Also hand soap AND lotion.

I was on second floor by the weight room. Not a peep from that, but I could hear the floor above. Could have been elephants, so I will give the benefit of the doubt.

Location is excellent for a relaxing few days, Seal Beach is beautiful, beach is unspoiled and clean. Breakfast at this Hotel is better than most, very well presented. Staff were really helpful. Rooms clean and spacious with a small balcony. Small pool and hot tub. Both clean and appear well maintained. Main Street in town 5 minutes walk, lots of great restaurants, gift shops, just very relaxed and interesting. Highly recommended this hotel.

Nothing to dislike.
