Candlewood Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise, an IHG Hotel

The garden and pool were very nice and pretty. Very close proximity to the restaurant that we chose for dinner. Internet worked well. Very close to FLL.

Bathroom layout was odd. One glass sliding door to use for shower and WC. If someone is showering and you have to use the toilet, you get to do your business open to the room since there is a huge mirror opposite on the wall outside the bathroom.

Very comfortable bed and bedding. Very quiet location/soundproofed rooms. The reception on arrival by the wonderful staff. On our second stay, Ms. Arlène was most helpful, especially since the system created a duplicate booking! She kindly smoothed things over without a fee. The use of free Shuttle from/to FLL airport was most appreciated and easy to find after clear instructions to phone for it after a late arrival. Worked perfectly! Facility to prepay and book shuttle bus to/from cruise terminal with "All Stars" shuttle. Very efficient and wonderful customer service.

It seems petty, but the closest shops for food are at a mall across the busy highway. It was a long walk to/from there back to the hotel suite, especially for my husband, who has mobility problems. Easier if one had a car! However, there is a modern vending-style machines in the mail lobby of the Candlewood Suites, including frozen dinners! What we really wanted though was a glass of wine... or two... On our second visit three weeks later, I went to the stores myself... problem solved!

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Love that there was a coffee/tea station downstairs, my kids loved the hot chocolate. Location was also a plus for us. Love the kitchenette.

I didn't like the fact there was no housekeeping service. My family and I stayed for a week and there was no service not even the maid coming to the room to change towel and throw out the garbage. I hope this would change soon because it can be a bit difficult having young kids.

By far the best hotel i ever stayed in. I have 3 huge teens to the amount of space we had in the room was excellent . We stayed there for a month while we had renovation done to our house. It Was comfortable and the staff was excellent. My children didn't want to leave they love the gym they would always be in the gym. And I loved the complimentary laundry. Because i Normally do my laundry twice a week. It's also conveniently located close to the stores which is a plus if you don't have transportation.

There wasn't anything that I didnt like about it.

The beds were comfortable. Close to a shopping center where you can get necessities. Close to public transportation. Access to major highways.

Not enough parking.

I was evacuating because of Hurricane Ian, room was very nice. Had full size fridge, range top, cabinets with dishes and sink and dishwasher. They also allowed my dog. They also had a lending locker full of everything from crackpots to wine corkscrews and games for kids.

No breakfast or pool. Stairwells were in need of new carpets.

As a medical staff I noticed water on the floor in the wash room snd gym area. Went to look for staff members to notify of the water on the floor, didn’t mean to interrupt their conversation but I felt as though I was not to have intervened and letting them know of the issue. I could have cleaned up the mess for them so no one would fall😞☹️. As a victim of a fall (not pleasant at all) if I see something on the floor I want to prevent any accidents from happening

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, the shuttle to and from the airport was helpful, and the location wasn’t bad at all (15 mins from Ft Lauderdale beach, 15 mins from Hard rock casino, 28 mins from South Beach). There’s a lot of stores across the street like Winn Dixie, big lots and a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts. The staff was very friendly, especially Ashley and Robert. I have had a great time and I was very pleased with my room and stay.

The only thing could say I didn’t like was their little convenient store in the lobby wasn’t stocked with a lot of things, which honestly wasnt a big deal.

The room was clean and roomy. The staff was accommodating in getting us in early. I did like that transportation from airport included.

Price!! I thought a little pricey with no breakfast and no pool! Wish transportation to cruise terminal included for the price. $15 per person. Would I stay here again? Prob not my first pick next time.
