Haven Hotel - Fort Lauderdale Hotel

We were just looking for a place to spend one night before starting on our cruise. I was not expecting much, just a bed. The room was small but clean. The bed was comfortable. What I enjoyed was the small courtyard outside where we were able to enjoy some quiet time to relax at the end of a long day of travel. Breakfast was just a small continental breakfast (coffee, fruit & donut) but again was nice to enjoy at the courtyard. For just a quick stayover this motel was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

It was near the airport so we did hear a couple planes fly over but it stopped by 10:00 ish.

This is a cheerful budget option near the airport. We used the public bus #1 from the airport in and out. It is also near car hire depots. Rooms are small and comfortable. Good motel. Bit of breakfast. I liked it! Good prices and would go again.

Most will arrive by car. We came by public bus. The bus takes 3 minutes from the airport but drops you the wrong side of a 6 lane highway. Be prepared to run across or take a taxi? That said, going back it was super easy, 2 mins to a bus stop. The picture of the room is seriously imaginative. Looks nothing like.

You can't beat the price and value. A small boutique hotel. It's the perfect location, close to the airport and cruise terminal. The rooms are very tidy and smelled nice. The bedding was crisp and clean. There are even breakfast snacks and fresh coffee included. The owners/staff are very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

The room exceeded my expectations. Very well designed room with a very comfortable bed. Looking at the hotel from the outside, it definitely did not appear that the room would be as comfortable and well maintained as it was. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. This place is excellent, especially for the value.

The location seemed a bit industrial and not so pleasing to the eyes. However, the accomodations greatly made up for it.

The room was comfortable and clean. The outside was beautiful. There was a fountain in the courtyard beautiful rock landscaping. The location was somewhat industrial but it was very calm. Staff was courteous.

Nothing too serious but just the location was a little industrial so there weren't stores close by, but the experience was very pleasant. Most stores were at least like 10-15 minute drive away or less.

tidy room, closest to airport, comfortable bed. I feel comfortable with the room. the TV was good. the restroom was cleaned and neat to take a shower. it was cozy and nice it was like my room. I think it was a great experience.

the breakfast is too late at 8:30 am. the area it is a little alone around cars and workshops.

The location is great all highways are accessible.

Didn't have a dining table or chairs in the room. A small table and 2 chairs or stools would have made it easier to eat my dinner. No desk to do work on. Their wasn't a" do not disturb " or no housekeeping sign of the door. Housekeeping was in room when i left out to go shopping.

Terrific proximity to FLL and the port - minutes away from both so it was super for us! Kind staff, clean room and very comfy bed.

It was fine for our needs (to be close to the airport and port). It didn't have a great walk-score so I'm not sure I would stay for multiple nights.

It was New Years Eve weekend and could not find a hotel that was under $200 per night because I waited till the last minute. I thank God that I found the Haven and it was reasonably priced for the Holiday weekend. I did know what to expect when I arrived, but I tell you I was pleasantly surprised. The lady at the front desk was so kind and the room was very nice. I even stayed an extra day.

there was not pool.

The location is conveniently located near 95 & 595 . I was able to access the freeway with ease. Since the motel is not sitting directly on main road , traffic is minimal , which equals less noise for a convenient sleep. I’m glad I have Uber eats and DoorDash app. , made it very convenient for ordering food delivery directly to my room door . It’s a quiet area , I felt safe , although I did not stroll through the neighborhood in the middle of the night, I just went to sleep. Staff was polite and when I made small requests (ie: extra room key , more towels , & arranging a discounted price on our shuttle to the airport ) they were very accommodating. Overall , perfect stay for the pay .

I liked everything about my stay . I know if someone stays here and has a problem , there are several hotels down the street starting at $350.00 a night . I’m sure they would love to host them and their money . I was actually more annoyed by a potential customer who was rude and acted as if they did not know rules to renting a room . I had to wait whilst they threw a tantrum for over 25 minutes .
