Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port

Good location. Very close to cruise port and many shops and restaurants nearby.

Allowed us to check in early after getting off a cruise ship. Liked the pool area. Very close to the cruise port. Shuttle in the AM to get on the cruise ship was very organized and efficient.

They really don't have a full service restaurant--the selections they have are pretty much microwaved warmed up food that wasn't quite warmed up enough. However --there are plenty of restaurants near by within walking distance.

the bed and pillows were very comfortable staff were very friendly and the breakfast was fine. good location if you’re catching a cruise. 10 min from the airport.

rooms need a facelift. carpet and sofa were soiled and no where to put your clothes. we had to live out of our suitcase. You have to drive 20 min to Hollywood beach. The pool was ok.

Returning customers. Like shuttle from airport (even with increased price - $5). The service will be subcontracted to another operator. May look for new options if the price increases significantly

This hotel has made it to my top 5. This is in a perfect location with food spots in the surrounding area. They have some of the BEST customer service/Maid service I’ve seen. Everyone is courteous and professional. Even the breakfast staff is nice. The breakfast was good with typical items you would see for a hotel but they do switch it up with a little every morning. The rooms where spacious with comfortable beds. There wasn’t a microwave in the room but you can use the one in the lobby area at you convenience. They have items that you can purchase at the front desk such as drinks/snacks. The pool was nice and clean with no foul smells. In our room we didn’t see and marks on the Fruniture or bed sheets. The maid service is superior. They literally come to your room every day to make sure your good and if you need anything. We are pretty much staying here when we visit Ft. Lauderdale again. Thanks

Close proximity to restaurants and shops, not on a busy/noisy road. Layout of our room was really nice and functional. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was exceptional. Shuttle driver is such a nice guy and we really appreciated that service. The ladies that offer the shuttle to the cruise port are lovely, as well. Liked that there was a little bar we could get a nice drink soon after we arrived. The maintenance guy Jordi that fixed our room safe was awesome and quick.

Shower needs a proper fix up with new caulking and removal of rust stains on the shower floor - probably due to the fact that the towel holder is totally rusted out. The L shaped couch in our room needs new fabric. Kinda gross and very stained. Some of the front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful - but most were good. Breakfast was okay but my husband thought the bacon was gross and too greasy. I liked that there was hot oatmeal with all the stuff to add like raisins and brown sugar. Pool was just okay, kinda small.

The location was walking distance to the CVS where I got my pre cruise Covid test and very near the cruise port. They provide pick-up from airport and very reasonable transport fee to the cruise port. The room was very spacious and included a sofa set! The breakfast was great.

The room might need an update especially the carpet. The staff in the breakfast area were not that friendly.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed and room in general. Location is also very good. Hourly shuttles to airport…. What else do you need?

I loved the space that the room had for my family. I do wish I had this room for my whole stay. (We stayed in Orlando for 5 nights at the Hampton). Even though Hyatt property was older, it was cozy and comfortable. My 13 year old son slept on the pull out couch and we only wish that mattress was a more updated one and that the sheets were softer. (I am not sure if the sheets were brand new?) Balcony was nice and we had a view of the ocean and so pretty at night. I loved the space and will book again next year.

Sheets were not soft and the pull out couch mattress was in need for an update. But it did not cause us to dislike the stay. I wish I could have had this room type for the 5 nights in Orlando.
