fantastic location right on the beach. Master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable with lovely 4 poster bed. saw dolphins from our apartment window.

needs updating which they are in the process of doing. paint peeling off the bathroom walls, could have been cleaned better. sofa bed mattress although new not comfortable to sleep on, unusable in my opinion, bunk bed mattress poor quality. couldn’t close bedroom blind as broken. kitchen draw broken. noise levels after 10pm were not adhered to on some nights.

The atmosphere, views, staff, any just about everything else. I look forward to the remodel of the ocean view rooms. I am sure they will be phenomenal when they are done. Overall, Bali Hai was an excellent place to stay. I offer the above criticisms as the very few places for improvement. My family and I will be returning for sure.

Did not like that you had to get up at 7:30 am to get beach chairs and an umbrella. To resolve this, maybe each room has 4 chairs and umbrella assigned to them that are set up. If guests want more they could rent them for a charge. WiFi strength was not very good. Worked well in the room but did not extend that far on to the beach. Extending the access would be great. Also wish the lounge had more food and snack options.

The Bali Hai exceeded our expectations. The staff at the front desk were extremely accommodating and I especially want to thank Oriel. I made a mistake when I booked the room and she went out of her way to make sure that everything was handled quickly and easily. She was very nice and helpful and managed to fix our reservation. I will definitely be coming back to this resort as often as possible. Everyone at the hotel was excellent. I cannot thank them enough.

We did not have a single problem with the hotel and staff. Everyone was great.

The staff at front desk was and house keeper were great. Room was cleaned and restocked everyday with pride and a friendly attitude😊 The view from our oceanfront 2nd floor room was Beautiful!❤️

The furnishings were great, fresh white paint cleaned up the room. Entire room definitely needs to be renovated, especially the bathroom and kitchen.

I resort ocean front, what else do you need to know to like?

They recommend a restaurant named beach bistro. It is a horrible place. Sand in the food, drinks on the table and everywhere. They should call it The sand trap, horrible restaurant dining experience at the beach bistro. I’ll be doing more of that. In google of the moment.

I was so surprised at how cute the beachfront rooms were. From the reviews I was scared to even go after booking. I think there is a conspiracy to keep people away so they can have the beachfront rooms all to themselves lol. But seriously, they were so great and so happy we went and booked the beachfront room. Our room btw was exactly as pictured on the website as you will see from my pictures. So, it is a true representation and not misleading at all. Back to how great our stay was LOL. The view is AMAZING!! The bed was more comfortable compared to the majority of the hotel beds I have stayed in including the last two places on Sanibel Island and our Hilton’s we always stay in when traveling. The sofa was SO comfy and soft and obviously they didn’t skimp on the cheapness of the sofa. It also was more high end than you typically find. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could want or need for an extended stay. The lounge chairs on the deck are also more high end than normal. They made sitting on the balcony watching the ocean comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were so amazing!! I would definitely come here again and the sooner the better!! We LOVED our stay!!!

Now the cons. Not much to say here. The rooms are dated and they are not perfect. But that is stated on the website about the beachfront rooms already. Give the place some slack. It has a white sofa and it shows some SLIGHT dirt. But, could you keep your sofa white with hundreds of people coming and staying at your place? There is wear, staining, and moldings are rough looking but they have done their best with what they had to work with in my humble opinion.

We had some issues with the bathroom in our room. Toilet didn’t flush properly and there were ants in and around the sink. The manager offered us another room but it was our last night, we didn’t feel like moving all of our stuff. However, they were attentive and apologized about the bathroom issues.

Quiet, private beachfront. Noise ordinance kept it peaceful at night. Loved that the staff set up the lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach every day.

No coffee maker in the room, only an expresso maker that I couldn’t find K-Cups to fit at the store. Also, freezer didn’t have an ice maker or ice trays to make ice.

location!!! beachfront!! we stayed in an older room/ suite right on the beach with 2 chairs in front. loved the nostalgic feel of this charming “motel” nice landscaping behind our room where newer rooms were apparently added. I could have stayed here easily a week an been totally happy! it is very quite and private. they had a nice pool & even a spa too!

I liked everything! maybe update the sofa.

The pool area is extremely nice. There is an area for corn hole and a large Jenga game set up. There is also a spa where you can have a massage on the beach. You can get a manicure and/or pedicure there too. They gave us two cards for free welcome drinks at their bar. We didn’t use them but I’m sure the bar area was extremely nice. The room was right on the beach so all we had to do was open the sliding door and we were there.
