Baymont by Wyndham Jacksonville Orange Park

My husband and I were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk I believe either owner or manager went out of his way to accommodate my special needs and was very kind and gracious. The hotel itself was very clean with huge rooms,sparkling clean gigantic pool. Even the housekeeping staff were wonderful and very sweet. I definitely recommend this hotel as it's a great value with a great staff!

It was a nice distance from the area we were planning on visiting.

The area itself. There seemed to be alot of people just hanging out around there. Felt uncomfortable. There were cockroaches and it smelled like a smoking room even though it was a non smoking room.

Did not get any breakfast. The room was not clean the coffee maker was stil holding coffee grounds and the room had not Ben dusted on a while. Sadly dissatisfied with that cause for the price it should be clean . In the middle of the pandemic we got a room where others had not been cleaned up after . Hair was all over the bathroom , tub , floor . The door ways had hand prints on them . No hair dryer . Not really seeing it being a good choice to not have house keeping . Won’t return when I can get a clean place

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, had a hot breakfast

The breakfast was the same everyday there was no variety, housekeeping comes late and leaves early so request are not granted

I loved The entire staff. Normally i experience hella issues just do to me being transgendered alone. And it makes me feel uncomfortable when i see folk notice my appearence vs my name. An they treat me different in a lesser VALUED KINDA WAY. But My stay here was Amazing.....there were days were i didnt have the change to cover my room and the staff worked with me to allow my stay. When i had issues they took care of them ASAP an even changed my room..They also addressed me by my Preffered name which is LAURYN GARRETT. VS the name I was given at birth which is costly to change during these trying times of the pandemic an more. I will be back to stay there Really soon due to me being homeless an it being affordable with a great location an EXCELLENT RESPECTFUL ACCOMMODATING STAFF. ITS THE 1ST AN ONLY HOTEL IVE BEEN TO WHERE I FELT RESPECTED AN WELCOMED EVEN AFTER SEEING THE TEAS. SO GREAT JOB TO THIS STAFF PICK HERE..IF ONLY. SUPER 8 IN THE SAME PARKING LOT COULD GET IT TOGETHER AN FIRE THAT NASTY OBESE WHITE MAN. THEN THE AREA OF RENTING HOTELS WOULD BE VERY LOVELY AS A COMMUNITY. THANK U BAYMONT.

I didnt like that i pay 80 top dollars for the room with no kitchenette vs me going to what is deemed as a more low grade room A.k.a motel 6 upgraded version...an they have Brand new everything for a bit cheaper. But there locations arent as decent as baymonts. So its like a hit an miss. The rooms also could use a majpr face lift. Like NEW CARPET/FRESH PAINT.

The man at the desk who checked me in was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Only problem that I had was that there was many people hanging around outside and really loud.

The rooms were clean and spacious and in a good location. There was a gas station and food within walking distance. They had nice amenities and made sure everyone knew they were renovating so to expect some changes to the property.

Had 2 rooms and one had an attic and the door opened up on us. They didn’t have any more rooms to switch us so we had to wait for someone to fix and they only ended up putting a pice or cardboard to keep it closed.

It had a pool but I felt that it could have been cleaner

Just not being able to get in the pool the water was there it was fully loaded but I felt it could have been cleaner

The resort was in the back of other resort and confused me that even the GPS didn't finish "you arrive to your destination"
