Hampton Inn and Suites Jacksonville/Orange Park, FL

The location of the hotel was easily accessible. The young lady at the desk during check in was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet in and around the hotel. There were places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again when in the Jacksonville area.

The trash can right outside of the front door of the hotel was over running. There was no room in the bin, so people were placing trash on the ground next to it. This was definitely an unpleasant sight. The pillows were a little too firm for my preference.

The beds are so comfortable and clean, the front deak clerk Jasmine was efficient very professional and a delight. Our bill did seem off , we booked at 172.00 plus tax however i had 232.00 fro. My account, please check into this. I turned my keys in at 7:45 AM, if you could please check in to that. I was not given a statement when I turned in the key we truly love the Hampton and look forward to a stay soon in the future, for TAMPA, JECKELL ISLAND Ga Tallahassee, and Jacksonville two times as well as Tennesee. We usually LOVE staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites properties when we travel! I had to have a planned MAJOR surgery so we initially booked for two nights. After my operation, we slept for a while, but got an unexpected call that our house had been broken in to so we needed to travel home immediately (6 hrs) even though I was a few hours post-op. I explained the emergent situation to the front desk and they said that even though we were only about 45 mins past the check in time for a new night- they couldn’t refund or accommodate us whatsoever and we had to pay for the full night regardless or whether we stay or not- then they simply hung up on me. I tried to be understanding, but in this situation it was hard to be especially with being scared, in pain, and stressed.

Staff was extremely rude, hateful, and uncaring during a difficult and stressful situation. I’ve never been treated this way at a Hampton Inn & Suites before and was extremely disappointed, we will not be back.

Hampton exceeded my expectations on our stay in December. My family and I traveled to Jacksonville to visit my father for the 2nd time since September 2021 and our stay in September was at another place in Jacksonville and we were not happy at all! Therefore, we decided to stay at Hampton in December. Our future trips to Jacksonville will not consist of our stays at Hampton. You have definitely gained a client/customer forever. The staff, cleanliness, food, services, etc were impeccable. Thank you and see you soon!

The options for the included breakfast were great! It was clean!

The only thing I recommend is that they scrub the inside edge of the toilet. It was not clean. There were a couple of hairs in the shower. They could improve on that but in general it was clean and I would stay here again.

Location and breakfast. Comfortable bed.

I stay twice a month in hotels thru the country. This time this hotel was not as nicer I was thinking. Stains of dirty everywhere including in doors walls floors etc . Walls decoration damaged in the main elevator entrance, also deteriorated as well rooms floor walls 2 to 1 star hotel.

I am currently staying here and this is a great location. There are a lot of gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants in the area so it is very convenient. I moved here from a sub-par Hampton Inn location in another part of Jacksonville and I would highly recommend this location over that one. The breakfast is good and on time every morning. The coffee in the lobby tastes great morning and afternoon. The front desk is helpful and polite. The room is clean.

Nothing to dislike.

Rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed. Exceptionally clean throughout the whole facility. Felt like "home" for a night or close to it. I will definitely consider staying here again when I'm in the area for my upcoming operation. Breakfast was yummy even though they had it to-go style due to COVID-19. Fresh bacon, scrambled eggs, and options to make waffles, ect. Also fresh fruit and yogurt. Very pleased.

Beds were a tad firm for my liking. Rooms were a bit pricy $130+, but again, you get what you pay for!

breakfast was good. would be nice to have a gluten free bread choice though

they advertise a heated pool but the pool heater was already turned off for summer so it was very chilly which i would not swim in.

The free breakfast was much better than expected. Omelettes on Monday. Scrambled eggs on Tuesday. Make your own waffles. Oatmeal. Etc.... Clean facilities.

Bathroom door was difficult to open.
