I like the location of the hotel, and the room space was nice.

First I don’t like was I booking the room and I get there no microwave and no fridge and I have my two kids. But the girl after 11:30 pm give me other room. No POOL THAT A NO! NO!! Bc kids love pool. They say was out of services and pool look good. The fire alarm was hanging was broken beeping all night long.. I ask the room services lady for a towel and she give me attitude and tell me I need to ask in the from desk long short I never get clean towel.. thanks god I always bring my own towel. And the elevator they really need to I tell new one. When the door closes the sensor never make it open again and is in bad shape like very bad. I think that be all.

I had just arrived in Jacksonville and I had a awful experience I had been driving for 12 hours couldn’t get a room no where I arrived at ur hotel ur front desk clerk was extremely helpful and made sure I had a room for the evening she was the best front desk clerk I have ever encountered thank you so much for ur help

The check-in processes. The staff made sure not only everything was in order, but also made sure that our room had everything that we needed. Also, explaining to us the different doors that we could use going in and out of the hotel.

It really hard to say what I didn't like because everything suited what we were there for. Yes, I know that there is always for improvement, but sometimes if there isn't a problem, don't always try to improve on something if there isn't a problem.

Beds were super comfortable- we hadn't slept that great in such a long time and got to take lots of long naps on our vacation. Bathroom was nice and bright and the shower had great water pressure. Heard a little hallway noise over by the door, but overall the rooms were really quiet and we never heard our neighbors. Great price for the length of our stay. Decent breakfast selections.

Tv was a little finicky- volume buttons wouldn't work on tv or remote and if one of the cables was bumped ever so slightly, the picture on the tv would go out and took a while to get it just right so it would come back on.

Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for my purpose. Easy access to the property. Hassle free check in and out. Exterior is beautiful.

Interior is in bad need of renovation. Elevator very noisy and has a weird smell like a rusted can. Interior is in need of updates thru out the property. Pool and hot tub under repair, couldn't this have been done in the winter time instead of beginning of summer?

ALL staff members, including housekeeping, were friendly and very helpful. Although the building is not new, it is well kept and has a pleasant aroma. The included breakfast was fairly hearty - hard-boiled eggs, a variety of cold cereals, apples, yogurt, bagels, bread/toast, DIY waffles, apple and orange juices, coffee, assorted teas. The room was quiet and clean, with a refrigerator and microwave, and the bathroom was very clean. Closet space was adequate, and an iron and ironing board were also stashed in the closet. The A/C worked very well, and the bed was QUITE comfortable.

The pool and jacuzzi looked like they were closed -- I didn't check them out personally, but they looked like they were in the process of being cleaned.

I arrived around noon, much earlier than posted check-in, and the extremely gracious front desk staff immediately found a room that was ready. Customer service on point! The room, 402, was clean, airy, fresh-smelling, and borderline chilly. (I like chilly.). The water pressure was ample at 8:00 in the morning, and the hot water flowed abundantly. The bedding was spotlessly white and luxuriant. This is a La Quinta?? Well done, Team Jacksonville for stepping up!

There is nothing that I disliked about the property. It was appropriate in every way for my needs.

It is an older hotel and it looked like it. Dirty stained carpet throughout the room was cleaned, no complaints there. The restrooms could use a bit more cleaning. Customers shouldn't be seeing mold in the restrooms. The elevator was slow and made a noise that sounded like the elevator was going to shut down.

Other than the dirty carpets, moldy restrooms, and very slow elevator. Nothing else.

Value is great. Roomy and comfortable.

Two comments: The keys failed after first use (had to replace at the desk - not a huge deal, but just a note). The wiring of the various appliances was confusing. There was a power block plugged into the wall, serving electric to the refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, but the coffee pot was located at a distance that prevented it from being plugged in without moving - and all this wasn't immediately apparent (especially at 6AM). So I was down on the floor figuring out what was wrong. Corrected it, and moved the coffee pot - but this kind of thing should be done by the staff. Except for that, the stay was great. I'll use and recommend the La Quinta in the future.

Honored my request to accommodate limited mobility and put me in a ground floor room near a side entrance with less walking. The king room was large enough for my walker although the bathroom was a little small and a w/c wouldn't have been able to fit. I liked the layout of the room and doors over kitchen and br. A/c worked well. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Micro, frig, coffee maker. Beautiful area next to a pond with dozens of egrets and next door to Cracker Barrel.

TV wasn't working. They were having some issue with Dish. Grab and go bag with a muffin and fruit cup. Coffee available but no tea.
