Best Western Plus Cecil Field Inn & Suites

Beds were comfortable. Room was spacious. Bathroom was roomy and worked well for a handicap person. Very quiet. Staff nice. They made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable. Cable has a nice variety

We stay in a lot of hotels for the business we are in. Was disappointed in the time frame, especially on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Most hotels do give 4 hours towards breakfast. Many people entered when we did but little no food because nothing is put out after 830. A lot of people like to be lazy on a Sunday morning, only to find out....you can't have food sorry....

the location was nice. it was clean. liked that it was near Cracker Barrel and mr. chubby. we loved the beds super comfortable. the ac and refridge worked awesome. stayed in room 405 and had a view of the pond.

the elevator was super slow. the breakfast bar was low every morning on butter apple juice and orange juice. the outside could use a fresh coat of paint and the lobby needs to have tv on mute. when we walked in a movie was playing saying all the f words and words a business shouldn’t have playing with families of small kids or even adults like my self not wanting to hear.

The place is beginning to look a bit threadbare in places. Better attention to room details, like wear and tear on furnishings would help. Some of the staff have the habit of referring to everyone as "Sweetie". Now that may be a Southern thing, but I believe that referring to people as Sir or Madam is polite and more professional. In a word, the standards at BW Cecil Field have grown "lax."

Great location close to restaurants, fast food, gas station, and grocery. Right off I-10 and 20mins to Jacksonville and Orange Park. Decent to-go breakfast (breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruits, coffee, juices etc). Rooms are clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here a few times. My last stay they gave me a free upgrade to a 1-bedroom suite and I was happy about that. Only downside is that the gym is closed. It’s understandable due to Covid, but I’ve stayed at similar or better hotels (Hilton, Wyndham, Country Inn) that have their gyms open.

Gym was closed. Breakfast could offer more options (offer hot breakfast if possible).

I really didn't take advantage of the pool, nor the WIFI. I liked the staff and the room was very comfortable. We were busy enjoying family during the holiday weekend. My son joined us on the trip at the last minute and I asked for a extra bed and was told that rooms were all booked which was understandable. However, I was told that the hotel no longer provides roll away beds due to fire hazard.

Now that COVID is under control, bring back better breakfast options. Protein options are needed (boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. )

The location was perfect. It was not far at all to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center. It was very clean and all the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There was not a full breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings like on Friday. There breakfast was great Friday morning and was looking forward to it the rest of our stay but they didn’t have it. This was the only thing that was disappointing during our stay. Everything else was great.

Donna was very knowledgeable and answered any questions upon registration. The gentlemen who worked there did a fantastic job keeping every thing filled to capacity. Very friendly.

Reasonably priced and close to where I needed to be.

My air conditioner didn’t seem to be working very well.it ran, and made cool air, but it didn’t seem to be doing a good job of dehumidifying the room. in fact I think there are spots of mold growing on the ceiling.

We stayed for about a week during the USATF Junior Olympics. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was good. Pool was always clean. Would definitely book a long stay here again! Thank you!!

Washing machines didn't work, but once again, the staff was extremely helpful and understanding.

I loved everything. The front desk made me feel like family. The hotel was very clean. Cleaning staff was very respectful and courteous. Best place I have EVER stayed in Jacksonville Fl.
