Fairfield Inn and Suites Jacksonville Beach

My stay was a good stay and the staff was very accommodating due to a booking error on the part of Booking.com.

When I arrived the hotel reported they didn't have the spa King suite I originally booked with Booking.com. They stated that booking.com is considered a third party company & they have experienced problems in the past in which customers are promised specific rooms and upon arrival those specific promises or requests are not available. I was very disappointed and looked forward to a spa bath after a long drive and had to settle for a room without the spa tub. They did accommodate me the next day. However, as a third party, it would make life much less stressful during travel if you could be sure what you offer is available as my disappointed makes me consider avoiding third party sites like this one in the future.

Charging for parking is just another tax that you add on to make it more expensive. The hotel charged $10 a day. That really adds up. Get ride of the parking fee. I will look elsewhere where there is free parking.

Paying for parking! This was a parking lot not a deck. My car wasnt protected and i wasnt protected from rain! Just a parking lot!

Loved the proximity to the beach and several eateries in the area you can walk to easily. The room was pretty dark but it was spacious and comfortable. I slept very well as there was little outside noise! I need the peace! Staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Parking was great and easy to access.

The carpet in the common areas is heavily soiled which made me question the cleanliness of the room. After looking at the protocol in place I was comfortable. Hard to keep bright carpet clean in a beachy area. Probably want to change it out for a darker version. The elevator was also very squeaky.

The breakfast was great. A lot of variety. We had the King Suite. I loved the design of the room. It was cozy and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. My husband and I really want some pillows like those. I enjoyed the body soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. It was good shampoo and conditioner to boot. Very impressed with the upscale of luxury. I will definitely be coming back.

There was not one single thing I did not like. This hotel was awesome.

The location was so convenient to the beach. It was a very short walk and there were beach rentals available at the beach access. The staff was excellent. Jenn was great with giving us restaurant ideas and places to go. She also exceeded in customer service by taking pictures for us but most importantly providing a fan for our room. I would definitely recommend!!
