Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville Beach Boulevard/Mayo Clinic

Parking was available. Bed was comfortable. We were able to control the temperature of the room. It was near Mayo, which is why we stayed out there.

We had received an email confirming my request for a ground floor room, but, upon checking in, that was not available. One of the USB ports was broken and part of it came out in our cord. Apparently this had been known before because, when my husband reported it the answer was “ oh, has that not been fixed yet?” Lastly, the chairs in the room , while matching the decor in color and style perfectly, were extremely uncomfortable.

Close to Mayo Clinic, central entrance, nice breakfast and coffee

hard to access main road (Beach Drive) coming or going. No back up generators, not even exit stairway lighting, and hurricane was threatening while we were there. lobby TV on Fox News. We were under hurricane watch, should have been on Weather Channel or similar neutral station

Booked through booking.com but checked hotels web site to make sure hot tub/and pool was open. Nothing on either site stated differently. Got to hotel and hot tub was closed due to pipe issues. Pool was also closed which was not stated on web site and when I called hotel directly to inquire about hot tub and pool I was told they were both open.

Good location for my needs. It is a VERY clean facility. The place is obviously run and managed by folks who care about clients. The breakfast looked fine, though I did not partake.

The location is slightly difficult to access. It is on a one-way road, so U-Turns are in order. The Parking was a bit cramped, though adequate.

I like the environment at the hotel as was as the staff. The room was clean and comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that when I booked my stay and went to the destination this weekend (7/9-10/21) I learned I was booked for September (9/9-10/21), this I never did. I changed my date in the system while at the hotel, otherwise I would have been homeless for the weekend. I was quoted initially $307.00 is the reason I chose "book it.com" but when I had to change my date I was charged $449.00 and at check out I was charged $451.00... I will NEVER book anything with your company ever again and will advise my family and friend not to as well.

Very comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom.

Desk would not take the company credit card. Vice president of Company name on card not mine. Even though I reserved room with card on booking.com. No flags were raised about this when booking room. Would not take a call from the VP to verify I was able to use card.

The staff was friendly. We were allowed to check in early. The room was very clean. I love the strong shower heads. So the water pressure was great.

The breakfast could be just a bit better but it was definitely worth going down to get. Awesome compared to so many other Hotels.

The parking was very limited with the hotel at full capacity. I had to ask the clerk for additional parking because we left for dinner and came back to only two spots that were double parked . The other negative is that the hot tub was not in working order

From the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and graciously, the hotel was clean and beautiful. The location was super convenient because we had access to everything we needed and it's between the beach and the downtown area. Our room was really nice and it looked EXACTLY like the pictures and the full breakfast was delicious. Our bed was huge and super comfy and we truly enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend if you are in the Jacksonville area to stay here because it was more than we ever expected!!

There is nothing negative to be said about our stay were were truly satisfied with the choice that we made and would recommend this fine hotel to everyone.

I had appointments very early in the morning that is why I picked this location. Traffic was good in the area so I arrived with time to spare. The room was clean and quiet. I felt safe in the area also. I loved that they have a water softener which a pleasant surprise. The staff was very pleasant and even though I didnt eat the free breakfast it looked great. I would stay there again and I would recommend this hotel.
