Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville - Mayport / Beach, an IHG Hotel

The shower head and water pressure was awesome.

Could hear movements on the floor above us very easily.

Was visiting daughter, just had new baby, good location for us, only a few miles to her house. Good prepared breakfast, during covid time. Staff extra friendly and very accommodating. Everything very clean, nice rooms and comfortable beds.

We got into town early, around 2, we wanted to check in early, we were not allowed to. We even had to wait till after 3 which was check in time. I think this maybe due to short staffed. Understandably, they did not clean the rooms daily, had to set trash outside and ask for towels daily. Also, we were there from 1-8th, we had to get our room card reprogramed daily. Over all a GREAT stay, Great Hotel.

I still have a 50.00 hold on my card why idk

We stayed just for a night, and we loved everything about this hotel - it is very well maintained and very clean, the towels and bed linen were white and looked fresh. We liked the breakfast - nothing fancy but still variety was great - hot omelets and sausages, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, pancakes and sweets, tea/coffee. Another good point - they offer a free parking. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and will be happy to book it again. Thank you!

I loved the bed. The hot tub was so amazing it fulfilled ever teenage dream I’ve ever had. I got married at sunrise and came here for the night and it was beautiful as soon as we walked in. Amazing pool, amazing staff, snacks, gym, all kinds of stuff to do. Also, GOOD TV CHANNELS BRO. BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY DUDE KARL AT GUEST SERVICES WHO IS THE REASON IM WRITING THKS REVIEW. PERSONABLE, HELPFUL, ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE!!! That man was the highlight of our stay, his personality is amazing I really hope he is a valued employee, because he truly made the hotel a good experience. Loved him.

There was literally nothing about this hotel that I didn’t like. Everything was spotless, stocked, accessible, not confusing at all. I will definitely be back to get the hot tub room again. So worth it. Beautiful place truly.

the room was clean and the breakfast was good and the bed slept really good.

well we had like 6 centipedes crawling on the floor in the bathroom and near our bed but we killed them. then the people above is kept stomping there feet and hitting on stuff they were very noisy. then the wifi kept going out for some reason couldnt get good signal but besides that everything else was good

When I messaged the staff through booking app they replied a week later and after I could no longer cancel for free. The message I sent was asking about their pet policy. They told me how much per pet and that the pet can not be left unattended in the room at any time during my stay. That is an unrealistic expectation. When I arrived they only had me listed for a 2 queen bed room. With booking I had chosen a 2 queen room with a sofa Sleeper.

Breakfast was very good, as was the crew working. Table cleaning was ongoing so always ready for the next influx of guests. Staff communicated w us to indicate fresh biscuits, for example, would be out in 2 minutes. Started our day off nicely! Desk staff greeted us warmly whenever we entered/exited. Parking lot more than adequate and clean. No trash floating around. Nice little exercise room. Again, very clean. VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE ☺️

Can't think of anything except perhaps light bulb might have been brighter for reading in one area of the room.

This property had to be one of the cleanest I've ever experienced at a hotel. The room had been updated and was very spacious. It was exceptionally clean and it was cleaned daily with fresh linens and towels. The breakfast was great. A nice way to begin the day. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Very professional.

It seems that the hotel has been updated recently. While the bed was moderately comfortable, it was clearly older and squeaked when I got into it. Maybe at some point, the beds could be updated as well. This was my only concern. I did sleep well in spite of it.

I was amazed by the level of cleanliness of the hotel. It has everything you could possibly need in a hotel room. Quiet location, friendly staff and good housekeeping service.

The breakfast didn't give many choices. That was my only issue. But I didn't expect much neither as we went in vacation and were ready for outside restaurants.
