Marseilles Beachfront Hotel

The hotel is located at a great location. reasonable price. Facility is clean and enjoyable. Pool is good and free umbrell and chair was a bonus.

BEWARE: The restaurant servers will give you the check on a tablet what the total, What I’ll tell you there’s a 20% service charge included. Most people will tip again cluelessly, because the screen shows three options for tipping option. At least 50% of the guest end up paying 40% tip on the food bill. That is deceitful robbery! But, this is all of Miami.

The location was great. Close to South Beach and many restaurants and bars.

The room was ok, not great. The bathroom was small and the toilet over flowed but they fix it right away. The AC in the room was not that strong. The pool and bars close too early on the week days, 8 pm to be exact. In such a lively place with everyone pumping around you why would the bar and pool close so early.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was absolutely amazing, right on the beach and within walking distance of tons of restaurants/bars/shopping. The backyard had a decently sized pool and was a relaxing atmosphere. And $1 drinks for happy hour? It can’t get better than that! The room was beautiful and clean. Overall a wonderful place to enjoy a stay.

My only real complaint is that you can hear everything between the rooms. The doors/walls are thin and noise travels easily. Most guests are respectful of the noise level however so it wasn’t too bad but something to be weary of.

4 women shared a room on the 9th floor that was a bit small for our liking but was entirely manageable. housekeeping staff kept the room absolutely pristine amongst all of our belongings. we had plenty of towels to use in the room and at the pool. service staff was readily available to fulfill requests within minutes (ex. more towels, AC malfunction, more pillows)

Smaller sized room (705) than our friends who paid the same amount (403). we assumed the gate to the public beach path would be locked at all times but learned it was not due to the restaurant there. we had met another resort couple who had their belongings stolen while dining there

ASIDE from the papee thin walls, the REST of my trip was GREAT..... Friendly and accommodating staff, restaurant was delicious, very quick turn around for maintenance issues and VERY CLEAN!!!

The walls appear to be PAPER thin so the DRUNK beligerent guest next door to us made for an extremely unpleasant experience at night when they came into their room, LOUD, DRUNK, CURSING, and fighting..... 2 nights straight!! 🤬

on top of my bill , at backyard patio i need to add 20% service charge plus 20% tip. That is too much. I discovered that 40% was added to each of my bills last day, as they never hand you paper bills unless you specifically ask for them.

The property was very pretty, fantastic pool area and backyard! Staff was always smiling and happy to help. Beach and ocean walk easily accessible. Happy hour was enjoyable and when it rained, covered seating was offered. Great aesthetics! Lots and lots of photo opportunities!

House feeling was not fantastic. 4 ppl staying on me room. 2 clean towels left and when asked the house keeper forMore towels her response was “we ran out. Ask the front desk”. I feel as if she should have gotten them for us. Beds were made but on the last day only 1 bed was made. The room wasn’t as clean as it could have been but it was acceptable. The chairs on the beach that were offered complimentary were first come first serve but 3/3 days out chairs were broken.. plastic slats were missing . Construction was going on next door. Only 1 morning we were woke by the construction at 8am. But the other mornings were quiet in the mornings. Walls are thin.

the restaurant is not up to standards in service or flavor only in price, they are so overpriced plus is not good service not even for breakfast, on top of it they don’t even give you a receipt so you see what they charging you for and what’s the gratuity they get, instead they ask you to sign a iPad and for more gratuity for a service that was non existence, tbh you’re better of going out to eat

I have stayed at this hotel perhaps 5+ times over the last 10 years and it absolutely never disappoints. If you want a boutique hotel located in the Collins South Beach corridor this has always been a fantastic option. The beach access is spectacular and the pool and pool area are great too. I had a fantastic renovated room which was huge and with nice water pressure. Honestly, it’s a great option if you want to be in this area. I’ve come back multiple times and it’s always been great.

Very superficial and small things but then carpet in the hallways is showing it’s age. Also, the hallways can be noisy but thus is something you would find in every south beach hotel in these areas especially during certain party weekends.

Decent price for location- right on the beach and close to everything. Beautiful back area. Front patio for dining and people watching. Nice Deco lobby. Friendly staff.

Our basic double room had a very small bathroom. We were going for value- but might be worth an upgrade for a bigger room. Room Furnishings a little run down. The staff member at check out wouldn’t give me a receipt because I booked through a 3rd party-(this site)
