Uma House by Yurbban South Beach

We loved the location, the brand new hotel, comfortable beds, the views from the rooftop. perfect to be able to use the swimmingpool of the next door hotel and the fact that it has sun from sunrise til sunset! A lot of pools in Miami have limited sun. Just a short walk to the beach was fantastic and the beach chairs comfortable! Another very positive aspect is that the hotel is situated at a quiet corner only a block from busy Collins Avenue. It is a short walk from Ocean Drive, only one kilometer along the beach walk. We had amazing morning runs on the beach:-) We much appreciated the room upgrade and everything the management and the front desk emloyees did to make our stay as perfect as possible. Love the design in the lobby!

A bit noisy from the hallway into the rooms, but not really a problem for us. But for light sleepers it might be a problem when people come back late.

The Uma House Hotel has captivating views. The best part of my stay; the service at the front desk. The communication with all the personel is excellent and it is close to an amazing offer of top noch restaurants and bars. They also offer the access to the pool with their sister hotel and the access to the beach club with chairs and umbrellas. I’ll be back!

A random loud fire alarm came on my first night there close to midnight when I was sleeping—still have no idea what happened.

The staff was really nice and helpful ! Hotel was clean and provided nice amenities. Great location to everything in South Beach . Free chairs were provided at the beach which was really convenient . And there was a record player in the room which we enjoyed. Has 1 hour of free biking daily as well (though the bikes could use a tune-up)

Some inconveniences that could be improved: 1) parking was valet but there was never anyone at the valet desk and so they had our expensive rental car sitting illegally in the middle of the road for hours. Felt like we had to keep checking on the car which you don’t want to do on vacation! For the price you pay for parking, they could be more attentive to keep the cars safe and guests comfortable , 2) the floors of our room were uneven- not a big deal but worth noting that we noticed, 3) for a 4 star hotel they could upgrade their toilet paper choices :)

The staff was super helpful and the facility was very clean and comfortable.

The size of the refrigerator left little space for our personal things. The things provided in the refrigerator were for sale and priced quite high. Long term parking is a bit far to walk (about a full two blocks away), but available.

An amazing location, large spacious rooms, gorgeous interior and the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! Rooftop pool, access to sunbeds on a nearby beach for free plus many more amazing freebies such as coffee and cookies each morning were an amazing touch! The location was fab, super close to hundreds of bars and restaurants, ocean drive, beaches. Also bikes and the bus were just outside so it was super easy to get around! Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will 100% stay here again if I'm ever in Miami again!

The floors in the hotel room were really dirty, we did have to wear shoes inside. I don't think they were ever mopped however the rest of the hotel is really clean so wouldn't want to make too much of a fuss of that, not the end of the world. I would also say that though the wardrobe was large, there was actually hardly anywhere to put clothes, the fridge, safe and doors covered most of it. I think it could do with more shelving or drawers in the wardrobes as we did struggle to unpack. Again, really not a game changer and I'm finding the smallest of detail as everything was so great!

It is close to everything we wanted to be close to. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The first two nights it was extremely loud and my son and I couldn’t sleep. But when I asked the front desk they switched us to a different room and we could sleep well. The room was clean and spacious. The elevator is activated with a key card making it feel safe

The pool was small and drinking is allowed in the pool so it was more adult oriented rather than kid friendly. It’s shallow so kids can swim easily but because it’s small and crowded we couldn’t enjoy it. But other than that it met our needs very well and we will definitely stay there again.

The staff (especially Dominica and David) were so helpful and friendly - we arrived early before check-in and were given towels and pool keys to relax, while our luggage was held and then taken to our rooms for us when ready. Pool staff and bartenders were also very friendly, brought us cold bottled water and fresh towels, and the facilities were all great, clean, and modern. We were just about a block and a half away from the beach, and also received free beach chairs from the hotel. I was also able to stay at the pool and use the facilities after checking out, since I had a late evening flight.

The location is perfect. Like a half mile to ocean drive. Rooms were small but we made it work. I had a double double with 3 girls, and then we did a king size with two other girls. I’d recommend the sunset side as it has the pool and you have to leave the building to get to the other side

How picky the staff was, we got make up on a towel and were charged for stained linen when if they washed it, it would definitely come out. If you book through the hotel, they offer compliments champagne but not when you buy through a third party. Also , the pool area needs more chairs/ huts. Bring Sandles because you will burn your feet at the pool area

The Staff are amazing, the hotel is new and the beds were very comfortable. I asked that they help me surprise my husband for our honeymoon and they wrote a beautiful note with what I asked and left us champagne in our room! The location is perfect, super close to all the action of South Beach but no noise from outside at all! It's about a 2 minute walk to the beach and they have chairs from the hotel you can use on the beach. Everything was clean and everyone working was polite and helpful. We even ended up extending our stay and they helped us find rooms perfect for us. The rooms were comfy and clean and the facilities where all spotless. 10/10 will be coming back as soon as we can :)
