Wyndham Garden Orlando Airport

Free shuttle from and to the airport. Good communication with the hotel even if we booked it only a few hours before arriving. About 20min drive to the Disney parks (shuttle not provided by the hotel). About 15min drive to the airport, still the location was very quiet. We had a room on the last floor and the view on the pool and lake was nice. The staff was quite accommodating and allowed us a late check out at 12pm instead of 11am free of charge. The bathroom was spacious and with some really nice lights (not these neon lights that make you look like a ghost). The bed was really comfortable and large with two pillow options.

Maybe they were understaffed, but on the day we arrived and wanted to go for dinner there, we had to wait at least 20min to find someone in charge of the restaurant and almost chase them to order. The food was good even if several options were not available on that day. My husband wanted to have breakfast in the morning and he also had to wait quite some time so he decided not to have it. It's not dramatic as there's enough food delivery options around :)

checking in was super easy the bar was an average they don’t make drink specials just the regular brown or white liquor the rooms were exceptional love love the room and spacious bathroom

Front Desk don’t go above and beyond to help you out they just give you a dry answer and keep it moving and you’d think the money you pay there they should be a lil bit more helpful housekeepers don’t speak a word of English or try to help you they shut you down and they are quick to say “Go To Front Desk” and which you know is no help either so they need to work on that…

Front desk at our midnight check in was nice & helpful. I use a walker & my mom is in her 70s & a nice man was able to get our bags to our room for us. In the morning the front desk worker was also friendly & helpful. I am horrible with names & wish I would have wrote them down! The airport shuttle driver picking us up at 1130pm was also friendly. I think roberto or maybe Riccardo was our shuttle driver back to the airport in the AM and he went above & beyond to get us & our luggage to our connecting shuttle in plenty of time. The room was comfortable & clean.

Our room was missing a bath towel & no shampoo or soap but the midnight front desk lady was able to get those items for us as well as ice as we were on the 1st floor & ice was on the 3rd floor I believe. All tiny inconveniences & easily remedied.

Great location for a night layover, they had a small snack, bar and coffee area. Great for grabbing something quick on the go or if you need something for kids. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, booking shuttle, food etc. Also, shoutout to Claudia on the front desk she checked us in and helped us settle in for the night. She also recommended a meal from the kitchen/chef which was exceptional. It wasn’t on the menu but was so good as it was a balanced meal, a change from the regular fried food which was on offer. The cook was friendly and presented the food well. Highly recommend as they had great customer service, hotel was clean and design/decor were up to date.

My reservation was canceled upon our arrival. The front desk associate took care of us asap. It was really late, and she checked us in without an additional wait. This hotel is close to shops and restaurants and plenty of free parking. The pool was open, but it closes at 6 pm, though. They have an on-site bar area as well. Overall, it was a great stay. I will be back to stay for a 3rd time.

The shower door was heavy to pull close. Also, something black was leaking from the door every time we moved it to take a shower. It left a dirty residue after every shower.

Because of a cancelled flight I needed a hotel for the night. After reading many positive reviews of this property I decided to book a room here. I arrived quite a bit before check in time, not expecting to check in, but to ask a few question on provided shuttle service as I wanted to return my rental to the airport yet that day after enjoying the day in the area and return later for checkin. I was greeted by a very nice and professional employee who answered all my questions. I told her I would be returning later and she said she could check and see if a room was possible for me to get checked in. Turns out she was able to get us checked in which allowed us to get our luggage unloaded from rental and allow us to freshen up before heading out for the day. Because we were able to unload our luggage we were able to explore Orlando for the day and then go direct to the airport to return car, saving return trip to hotel to checkin. After dropping off car we called hotel for shuttle and our timing was just right as shuttle was already in process doing airport pickup. Got picked up within about 15 minutes and taken to hotel. As for the hotel itself, not sure how old it is but it appears fairly new. It has a very nice outdoor area with a pool, a bar and serves dinner. The menu was a bit limited, hamburgers, chicken strips, pizza but was very good and all we needed for our stay. The room was exceptional compared to places we’ve stayed before and I would stay rivaled rooms in hotels costing much more. Clean, comfortable, efficient layout, large bathroom and shower. Overall I would rate this hotel as excellent in all areas, including a friendly and helpful staff, and would not hesitate staying again. Highly recommended.

Everyone that worked there was super kind! the young lady with the black Bob hair cut was super sweet and welcoming as well! She needs a raise! She made sure we were all ready for our stay. We’re so close to everything too so that made it even better!!

Only thing I’d say is that we had to have the cool air constantly going at like 67 degrees so the room wouldn’t get too humid. The humidity sometimes got so bad that it made the bedding feel wet/damp & then that makes you sweat. Then the shower isn’t sealed that well so it would leak all on the floor. We put some towels in the floor so it was too bad.

The breakfast was not included in the hotel stay. Yet it was available for $10. I declined to purchase the breakfast as I am not really a breakfast person anyhow. Now brunch I love!

When booking the hotel even through a third party company, I believe that the free shuttle service should be provided. In the confirmation email there should be some instruction including the direct phone number to access the hotel to airport complimentary service especially for the folks who are traveling and would otherwise never know.

Having to catch a 6 am flight out of Orlando prompted our stay at the WGOA. For the price, I was very pleased. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Carla was very gracious and accommodating. She was able to get us an early check-in which enabled us to return our car without having to lug our luggage! A huge plus!! The free airport shuttle was awesome as well.

The only thing I didn't care for was the shower head. There was also no power to the outlets on the left side of the room, which we will inform them of the issue now that we're home.

Clean, friendly (especially the check-in hostess), provided airport shuttle, quietness, request for a room furthest from the elevator was met.

Getting in on a later flight made getting something to eat difficult and although we barely got our order in before the hotel kitchen closed, the food was less than satisfying. We honestly questioned whether the meat on the steak burger was actually meat at all. Neither of us founded the meal and at $17+ each, it was disappointing.
