Candlewood Suites - Panama City Beach Pier Park, an IHG Hotel

We have been staying here each year since they opened in 2021. We can definitely see improvements that they've made to the facility. We enjoy the kitchenette and being able to cook some of our meals in the room to save money. We also enjoy the the on-site laundry and pool. The full size complimentary toiletries in the shower are nice as well.

The garbage disposal was not working when we arrived in the room. This made the draining of the sink very slow. Also would be nice to have an oven or toaster oven.

Location was great! The hotel/room/grounds were clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms with and kitchenette was a nice bonus. Great fitness *bring your own towel, & laundry room. The staff were curteous and professional.

Limited parking. There was no breakfast served other than vending machines, or you could purchase snacks from a small store in the lobby. When booking and paying through booking.com, it stated that breakfast was included in the advertised price I paid. Limited cable, no smart tv apps, and difficult to access any wifi or premium channels.

I like how clean it was.

I didn't like the staff didn't know to much. I had to wait. Like every one at the front desk was new. They were nice though. Parking was horrible. My entire stay it was hard to find parking because the parking lot was full. A lot of working trucks. Which I feel should park on the other side away from the hotel. When guest bringing in luggage and etc we have to park far away from the door. Also the pool was to cold to enjoy. Like the temperature needed some adjustments.

Great customer services. spacious room. comfortable. Loved being able to do a load of laundry at no charge. Even a laundry basket was provided. We were granted a late checkout to sign and have documents witnessed. The laundry supervisor did the witnessing

we could hear tenants above us as well as people walking by the room. Not on the beach

It was so relaxing, it was nice to be able to fix breakfast and we even cooked a couple dinners in the little kitchen..We were close by to the shopping and Pier. Swimming pool was very and clean..We have no complaints..excellent stay

Due to covid breakfast was suspended, but there was a waffle House 1 minute drive and 5 minutes walk away, including burger king, subway, and taco bell. The facilities were as the pictures that they display and for people like me who worry don't be, it's clean, friendly staff all over, even the locals are nice.Lets not forget the beach is 10 minutes walk from the hotel beautiful beautiful. The queen size beds can hold up to one adult and two kids for parents like myself just a bit of info. Oh my how can i forget about "kadeen" hope i spelled it correctly, but she was so nice and accommodating since i was at the airport in St Louis. She tried her best to have me a room before my check in time at 4pm, i really appreciate the above and beyond service experienced, definitely looking to return soon or maybe live here who knows lol

They didn't have a frying pan for eggs 😂😂😂😂lol, i really don't have a dislike. It was all worth in.

I did not get breakfast at hotel but the location is close enough to various places for me to get something to eat. The room also provided me with a small kitchen and the ability to cook for myself.

The room was very clean and set up really nicely, but the noise from various appliances was at times unbearable !!! Noises from the air conditioner, noises from the refrigerator, and the most awful noises came from the door to the bathroom !!! If the other guests did not here it every time I closed it, I would really be surprised !

This is a nice comfortable hotel - we arrived a day early for our original location (beachfront) but could not get into that hotel for that one night. So we chose this hotel because it was nearby and the rate was reasonable (this is not a beachfront location.)

Clean, quiet, within a good distance of the places we visited, having utensils for cooking, large closet space

Keys stopped working on our first day out Towels weren’t fully stocked for number of guests in room Frying pan was not cleaned

Comfy bed and nice employees. Dove soap, shampoo and conditioner in shower. Refill type bottles which was very nice.

No free breakfast. Elevator made weird clicking noise kind of scary. Lots of construction so traffic tricky to get into hotel.
