Good location away from the loudness of the strip and traffic. Right on the beach and wasn’t crowded

The parking isn’t so great, there’s a overflow across the road but makes it hard to unload all of your things. The beds are hard as a rock, woke up with hip and back pain the last few days , found some stray hairs in the bathroom but won’t hold it against them. But overall budget friendly and nice staff.

I love the location the best,it’s away from the crowded congestion.

I wasn’t able to check in til 5 because they were behind on the cleaning of the room, should have been given a better rate because of this.

Haven't been to PCB in many years. The hotel was great, location could not have been better. Will be back in the future.

Longer stay!!!!

Great value for the price. Room was nice and clean.

Parking was hard. Public restroom was nasty. Wifi/internet was so slow I had to drive to Panera Bread to use my computer for checking in to work.

Our room was very clean, perfect beach view and perfect spot honestly.

There was some tape in our bathtub and when I gave my daughter a bath it leaked into the room under ours.

This is our second time staying here and extended 1 more day and still lov it!room is very clean and has a kitchen where you can cook and prepare your meal,staff are very kind and friendly and even offer to clean room everyday I love that we got the room in front of the beach and has a balcony my family really enjoyed our stay here!

this building will really need some tlc,when we arrived here the restroom downstairs for everyone to used is just very stinky the first time you open the door you can already smell it and it’s bad specially in Mens needs to be clean atleast twice a day or atleast get check to makes sure it’s clean.Elevator need some attention as well.kitchen sink drains very slow.I do wish by the amount we pay for the room they could offer breakfast every morning.

Loved the location. Loved that it was away from the bigger hotels and condos. I felt like we had our own section of the beach.

The only frustrating part was the parking situation. I didn’t mind parking across the street until it was time to pack up and leave. Had to wait for a spot to open up so we didn’t have to push the cart across the street into the gravel lot. Also, would have loved to have a full length mirror in the room. Only mirror was in the bathroom. And with 3 ladies trying to get ready at the same time, it was a little difficult.

Location, Location, Location!!! Although we are very familiar with PCB and have a timeshare on Edgewater beach! We visit two or three times a year, over the past 35 years. However, we have never stayed this side of the Bay county bf. We were pleasantly surprised by the results, and the almost private nature of the beach here. We loved everything about SSBH… The property is beautiful, directly on the beach (w/o all the crowds from the high rise hotels), Clean, Safe, Affordable and the Staff are all amazing people. Plus, the location is close to access roads to take You from the western most parts of PCB and easily accessibility to Middle Beach Rd. and Back Beach Rd. for quick trips to the Eastern beaches, and attractions!!! We highly recommend checking out Sugar Sands Beach Hotel for Your stay… We will definitely be back, bf the autumn!!!

The elevator was hot!? That’s it… that’s the only thing we could think of!!! Lol

I requested a top floor room and it was available. The views are amazing. The staff is very friendly and sweet. We love this little hotel. We will book again for next year. The price is very good and the location is the best. Please don't tear this little gem down. We love that the walk to the ocean is short.

Only 1/2 the room stayed cool due to the layout (503) the extension cord for the bedside table is to short making those lights and outlets not work. There was only one fork in the silverware tray. The fry pan needs thrown out. ( we always bring our own due to we have stayed there before so we know what to expect) the parking is terrible when the hotel is booked.

We loved the location, the pool, and the closeness to the beach! The ocean views off the balcony are amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful! I didn't realize the rooms have full kitchens with a four eye stove, a full refrigerator, and dishes for four! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends.

We didn't see anywhere that the property was a non-smoking one. You should at least be able to smoke on your balcony. We also didn't like that the ac was on the balcony. It made it uncomfortable to be out there if it was on. And lastly, if you are handicapped be prepared to wait for the elevator, it is very slow.
