Holiday Inn - St Augustine - World Golf, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast Sunday was really good. The breakfast Monday was mediocre. The french toast was all over cooked. The fruit looked like leftovers from the morning before.

Mondays breakfast wasn't near as good as Sunday. The french toast was all over cooked and the fruit looked like leftovers from the day before. The hot tub was unenjoyable due to it being to 🔥hot. You felt like you were in a boiling pot. No one that we seen were able to actually get in it. They only stuck their feet in for a few mins. The pool was pretty comfortable however it could have been a little warmer.

This property was SO amazing. We had originally booked a different “hotel”, and when we got there did not feel safe. The next morning, we booked this precious gem—and called the hotel to see if we could possibly check in early. They let us! The staff were so kind. The hotel is nice. Not a moment we didn’t feel safe. Ample amount of parking. Amazing location. It was between the beach and where we needed to be for an event in St. John’s. The room was so spacious, and just perfect for our family of 5. The hotel is super quiet! Pool area is beautiful. They have an on site restaurant too, that I’m sad we didn’t get to try out. We Weill definitely be back!! Oh, and they just opened a Buckee’s right down the road. Beware, that place will take allllll your money :)

Nice location close to interstate. Front desk staff is great! Price is wonderful for the comfort and size room you get.

Beaches are about 12 miles away. The room smelled of a strange odor. Has a coffee maker but didn’t have the packets with creamer/sugar. Cleaning crew left dirty linens on floor outside rooms in hallway throughout the night. Trash can didn’t have a bag in it. Hotel didn’t seem to full capacity but we were given a room facing the parking lot, when there’s a beautiful view of lake on other side of building. Perhaps because we used a discount code from Booking.com?

The place and area surrounding the hotel are beautiful. Lobby is simple but cute. Front desk lady was very polite and helpful. The room was spacious and clean.

Old smelly carpet on the third floor hall. Not good for a first impression. The access to the pool is throughout the restaurant. Inconvenient. The hot tub was closed the night before and the following morning. No info about what happened.

Pleasant stay, not too far from St. Augustine - away from the bustle. Easy parking. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was a plus! But it only included a pass for 2, even though we booked for 4. But staff was quick to assist and gave us 2 more passes at no cost.

Room door was open when we checked-in, thought that was odd - no "just cleaned" seal to ensure safety measures were taken by cleaning staff. Also, TV was not working. We called FD and they assured us room was just cleaned by staff but sometimes they forget to lock door. After checking the TV was just unplugged so we plugged it in an cancelled the request.

My husband and I were wanting to explore St Augustine with our 8 month old and he loves golf so it was a no brainer to stay somewhere so beautiful with also such proximity to the beach. Every single staff member we came across was amazing. Above and beyond amazing. They brought us a crib and fresh sheets, dealt with our nightly UberEat drivers, and always made it a point to say hello to my daughter when she was coming in and out. Truly everyone made us feel so welcomed. And the king size bed made it hard to leave.

I just wouldn’t recommend the breakfast buffet for the price.

The breakfast was OK, although the hot food had been out for some time therefore we didn't eat any. Bar and reception staff were very friendly.

There was no safe in the room. As the hotel is out of town a shuttle would have been a bonus. without this we may not rebook on our next visit to the area.

The room was clean, the sheets was clean, the ac worked. I have been to other 4 star rated hotels and my white socks were beyond saving after walking on the floor or the sheets would have some kind of stain or a cigarette burn when you flipped back the covers. The location is back behind a business park which seems a little odd but is in a quiet area and not difficult to find.

Two things.. I was expecting the staff to not come in the room because they warned me about that but if I put out a full trash bag or some used towels shouldn't there be replacements automatically? Not is not a deal breaker, I'm pointing out something that crossed my mind. The other thing is the bathroom needs updating. I did not give the hotel (building) tops marks because it is not a 5 star and I am very much aware of this but it is a great 4 star.

Comfortable beds, large bathroom, room was very nice, pool was very nice, their was a huge amount of outdoor seating and tables, also two large gazebos that faced the lake. It was a very nice place. It was my first stay at a holiday inn and we enjoyed it.

Breakfast was supposed to be free, but we were charged the first day. I spoke to management and they gave me vouchers for free breakfast for the rest of my stay. He was supposed to deduct the $34.08 I was charged the first day from my total bill and he did not. I was also charged an extra $19.54 for something and I have no clue what. We left the room in very good condition so I know it wasn't for anything like that.

Kids loved the pool. Shower pressure was great. Food at bistro was good. Mini fridge seemed bigger then the usual size. Super close to 95 and not a long drive to downtown. All 6 of us fit comfortably in the suite.

That the housekeeping kept all the used towels/bedding for guests that checked out on the floor in front of the doors in the hallways. They were kept there for a day at a time. This is not very covid responsible. Shower knob was extremely hard to turn. AC was very humid and felt damp in the room. Sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced.
