Grandview Gardens

I traveled because of a funeral. I didn't want to be in a hustle and busy location but I still needed access to food. It was walking distance to City Place which was a calming walk. The property and room was a healing/mending place for me. I was thankful to God for this location. To me the online pictures didn't do it justice. I would have liked to have stayed longer but this was emergency travel. I got it right selecting this place.

I didn't like the taste of the water provided in the room. They had refillable containers so it might have been just tap water.

Grandview was the perfect oasis for a much needed vacation. The garden was so lovely and well maintained. The suite had a calmness that enveloped you. The pool area was inviting as well. The quietness of the property was so relaxing. I felt worlds away from the hustle and bustle just blocks away. Old Florida at its best in a cute neighborhood walkable to cute eateries and shops. Claudia was available at a moments notice for any need and Irma kept everything in pristine order. A lovely conversation with Fabian, the owner, made it feel as if you were visiting friends. A definite gem...my go to place when a recharge is needed.

Not one thing

Location and ambiance were excellent. The garden and pool area was lovely and well maintained. Though it is a small property, it provided little extra touches that made it feel special. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

I would suggest supplementing the coffee in the lounge along with small muffins or even commercially available breakfast bars and oranges/apples. Alternatively get rid of the lounge coffee altogether and just put coffee pods in the rooms ( they had machines but no pods).

Grandview Gardens is absolutely beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and informative. The building it self is so unique with lots of things to see both into and outside. The location is a 10 plus if going to the Kravis Centre for a play or just looking for a great culinary experience. Would highly recommend this beautiful place.

love the historical features, the ambiance, and tranquility. Felt very private and restful. Beautiful rooms, including the common/living area. Gardens we’re beautifully maintained. Quaint little paths. I would definitely book again!

mango season was almost done so lots of spoiled mangoes on the ground ☹️ They should get someone to pick them so they don’t go to waste

Loved the King Suite Room and the Pool. We had it all to ourselves and it couldn't have been in a better location. It was quiet and allowed for easy access to restaurants, breweries, beaches and the airport. If you want quiet and to be away from the larger hotels this is the perfect lil' gem.

I did not have any issues. It was exactly what I wanted in a getaway spot.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Fabian made sure to make us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Both the hotel and our room were beautiful and we loved spending time in the pool. Housekeeping staff were also very helpful and friendly. The hotel is near a park in a quiet neighborhood where it's nice to go for walks or run. It was exactly what we were looking for: a quiet relaxing place to spend our honeymoon.

The only ting I would have liked is the option of having breakfast available in the hotel. There was nothing we didn't like.

We stayed in a little cottage outside of the main building but it was very well-equipped and comfortable, in a great location. It had a lovely little outdoor patio, which we enjoyed.

The only complaint I had was personal to my taste—the bed pillows were too puffy (not pliable) which isn’t my preference. Also, the guest book was missing a few pages.

Unique and completely charming. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Loved the patio.

Security to the rooms should be better at night. There were no problems, but it’s easy access from the street to several rooms with glass doors.

Didn’t know what to expect when we arrived. Boy we’re we surprised. The proposed a block long surrounded be well manicured, lush foliage. The building is Spanish style, circa 1925, but by the appearance,inside and out, it could have been built in the last few years. The interior is immaculate having been totally renovated within the last year! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!!!

No full length mirror. Hopefully they will put one on the back of the closet dot.
