Hampton Inn Palm Beach Gardens

The staff was exceptional - everyone!- front desk, housekeeping, the staff stocking the breakfast food - every single person there was friendly, helpful, positive attitude!! I was completely impressed! The hotel was clean, at night it was quiet (and I even stayed on a holiday weekend!) the room was excellent, the pool/lounge area was clean and beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh! I have traveled a lot - within the US and overseas - and I can honestly say I have never stayed at a hotel that was this excellent overall! 10 stars!!

I would like to thank Maria the afternoon desk clerk. She went out of her way to find my son a room on the same floor as my husband and I so we could be closer together. She was also extremely friendly and asked us many times if there was anything else we needed. It was very nice to be treated so well.

The only problem I am having is trying to find out if I left my rain jacket in room 404. I called the desk the day after we checked out and was told housekeeping would look and get back to me. They did not. Now housekeeping is gone for the day and I’ll have to keep calling tomorrow to see if it has been found. Hopefully I can speak to a manager tomorrow to try and track it down.

Reception personnel were extremely friendly and proficient. Felt welcomed and valued.

The mattress on the bed was too soft. Woke up during the night and in the am with back pain. This is the second time staying at Hamptons (different locations) with soft mattresses. This may be my preference of a Hampton standard. Given that I will probably select another hotel in the future, if possible.

The staff and the amenities were so nice, and very close to everything, I love it.

The breakfast, I stay there with my family of 4 for 5 nights and I understand the protocol for Covid doesn’t allow a breakfast like buffet BUT every single day the same brown package with the cupcake , apple , water and nutrition bar , same flavor same everything it’s not good at all you need to try to change some days because this is boring I can’t imagine be there for more days just because that “breakfast” and it’s a shame because besides this everything was so good

Very impressed with room

Unable to use cash for drink or snack. I had to freeze my credit card while traveling to hotel as I was notified of a fraud alert after getting gas. 4 charges hit my card after leaving gas station in a matter of mins. Thank goodness was room was already pre-paid and boat!

The property looks like its been internally renovated somewhat recently. They seemed to have at least one computer available downstairs for guest use if needed, etc. Check-in was pleasant and simple. The King Suite Upgrade was very nice. It included a nice living room area with its own TV, sofa, armchair, TV table near the seating, and good (and adjustable lighting). There was also a little kitchenette area with a small (but good sized) refrigerator, counter space, and sink. Sectioned off by a partition wall and walkway was the bedroom area and bathroom. The bathroom was itself very spacious and dual-suite; with separate shower and tub areas, also partitioned off, as well as two separate toilets (which was interesting but certainly not a bad thing). It was super clean and they provided plenty of towels. The bedroom area was very comfortable with a clean and comfy King bed, its own TV, plenty of outlets to plug into (including at least one USB port), and a decent closet with full length mirror sliding doors. The free WiFi worked well and was easy to access. The view from the room out of the one window is of the (small) pool and some skyline across PGA (room was on 3rd floor). This would not be the property to choose for a great view but it wasn't a horrible view by any means (it's still Palm Beach Gardens after all). The room I was in likely offered one of the best views available on that floor given how the property is situated. I have no complaints at all about the room. Overall, the accommodations and amenities overall were quite nice.

The gentleman who conducted check-out was less than warm and understanding as I was trying to get clarification on something I misunderstood. He raised his voice a bit which made me uneasy and eager to leave. Also, for some reason, they attempted to double-charge me for the stay (after check-out). Thankfully, Capital One immediately returned the excess charge. BREAKFAST NOTE: As with many hotels during COVID, breakfast is available as a brown paper bag preselected to-go option. As a note, there was no orange juice available for the included breakfast and they didn't have any for purchase either.

The size of room is great and very comfortable beds. Most staff were great. Overnight fromt desk person, patient and kind very sincere. Our flight was delayed and gentlemen at front desk was extremely helpful.

Maintenance to Elevator and ice machines took to long

I liked the location, the pool and garden area, the pleasant staff. It was pretty clean, and the landscaping was beautiful.

It advertised free breakfast which wasn’t a buffet that we are used to, it was a grab n go bag with a bottle of water, an apple and a muffin. Also, when moving the bench seat in our room, an empty box of “contraceptives” was found. It really grossed me out.

It was pretty nice, but the little shop with the snacks and drinks is over priced.

Pool closing time. My Bf and i love to go night swimming and normally at a hampton inn the pool is open till at least 8-9pm but this one closes when the sun goes down so we didn't get to do that and were really bummed about it. Also because the pool opens when the sun comes up we went around 9am. If it's open it should be cleaned when it is about to open, however, it was filled with dead bugs all over.

The location is perfect for us as we have stayed here several times in the past year. The staff is always very attentive and always willing to help if needed. The rooms are always clean and they have a decent breakfast every morning.
