Holiday Inn Express Alpharetta - Roswell, an IHG Hotel

Property is very nice, clean, and staff is always available and courteous when needed. Location is quiet and away from high traffic areas…but only by a half a mile at most. In half a mile there are many shopping, dining, and entertainment options - also just 3-5min from on-ramp to hwy 400.

Hard to come up with anything really. Staff makes everything running smooth, quickly addresses any inquires, and keep the place clean and pleasant. Breakfast each day is also quite good.

The staff was very friendly! & on the whole, pretty clean! The sheets were very soft & the tv in the room was really nice. Also it was convenient having a microwave and mini fridge on the room. I also like that full size bottles of shampoo, body wash, & conditioner are offered instead of the mini bottles - it’s more convenient & planet-friendly.

For some reason, the second floor corridor smells strongly of chlorine. When we exited the elevator the smell of chlorine was so strong that we actually asked one another why it smelled as if the pool was on this floor. We walked past the pool to get to the elevator the first time and barely smelled the chlorine there. Makes me wonder if there are ventilation issues that need to be looked into. Separately, I would def advise people to bring their own pillows bc the ones provided give very little support - too fluffy.

The room was very clean. Check-in staff (Ruben) was awesome! We didn't get a chance to go to the pool or workout room but from the door, the facilities looked nice.

I was worried walking to our room because the hallways and lobby needed to be cleaned. I was thankful the room was clean. The shampoo and conditioner pumps in the shower didn't work very well. There was plenty in the bottle but the pumps didnt work. I had to pump a ton to get a little shampoo out and I couldn't get the conditioner out at all. Breakfast didnt have a very big selection. Check-out staff was not friendly at all, even after trying to engage with her.

The breakfast was very good! The room seemed to be remodeled and looked very nice.

There was a suspicious stain of some sort under the night stand. And I believe the lights above the bed were installed backwards the lightswitch is located on the outside of the light which requires you to get out of bed to turn the light off and if they were reversed you would not have to do that. Just a little inconvenient.

I like the customer service when I came in. I liked the cleanliness of the rooms. I liked the peacefulness of the room. I liked that there were available snacks for me to purchase. The customer service in the beginning was a plus.

I didn’t like the customer service provided at checkout. Woman had me On speaker phone and was talking to someone else while I was trying to check out. I also didn’t like the prices of snacks available at the lobby. The snacks were way overpriced.

My room was nicely updated and immaculate. The bed was comfortable and the hotel location was excellent, both close to major shopping and the entrance to the highway. Employees were helpful and polite.

The hallways had several bags of trash outside the guest rooms that did not get picked up over 2 days. It was clear that the hallways were also not vacuumed for several days. There is also an odor when you walk in the hotel lobby, much like someone used an over abundance of carpet powder.

I loved how clean the hotel was and the suite that they upgraded us to was lovely with no extra charges. We loved how comfortable the bed was and linen and the pillows were soft and cozy. The breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel was in a quiet area. I will use this hotel again on our next visit.

I like the comfort of the beds & the shower!

I really booked because of the “heated pool” for my sons birthday but it was definitely not heated. We did not enjoy the pool as much as we thought we would. The side entrance was not handicap accessible & a car was always blocking the walk way. Cash deposit was $200 extra

The breakfast location was fine. I was disappointed that there were apparently only 2 trays of the cinnamon rolls. The first morning They ran out.

Although we stayed 2 nights and did not expect a thorough cleaning. We did not receive any. The waste baskets were not emptied nor was the room checked regarding clean towels for the second night.

The beds and rooms are comfortable. Everything smells clean. Parking is free, and the hotel is near enough to shops/restaurants to be convenient, but not close enough to hear noise. Good cinnamon rolls in the morning

There were a few cosmetic issues with the room (marks on the carpet and walls), and toiletries are regular sized bottles attached to the wall, not great in a pandemic. The walls are sort of thin, and breakfast area did not have much variety and the juice machine was broken. Housekeeping also does not pay attention to putting the "do not disturb" signs on doors.
