Hampton Inn Indianapolis-South

Breakfast quite monotonous but edible. I'd say typical US hotel breakfast service. The room is nice, clean, although quite dark. Acceptable WiFi signal.

The dining room was situated just off the exit/reception area. While I was there, the entrance door broke down. As a result, the temperature at the tables near the door dropped to about 2 degrees Celsius (35 Fahrenheit). Not very pleasant. What I missed was coffee. If I had to suggest something to the staff, it would be to throw away the thermoses in which coffee is served and buy a regular coffee machine that grinds coffee beans while you wait. At the cost of $1000 + the cost of coffee, your breakfasts could become unique within 50 miles ;-)

I wish I had gotten the names of the 2 ladies at the front desk. The young lady that checked me in was so helpful and personable, we clicked immediately. The 2nd young lady was the night shift front desk, and my granddaughter wanted milk for her cookies, we went down to the vending area and was disappointed that there was not any milk, the lady at the front desk overheard our conversation and helped us to the breakfast area so that we could get a glass of cold milk from the machine!!! It's the little things that will make me come back😁

I only had coffee. Didn't eat any breakfast there.

They charged my card 4 times. They overcharged me and was nonchalant about refunding my money. My card is still in the negative, so I have to wait until they decide they want to refund my money.

Location was great for what I needed. Grab and go breakfast wasn’t the greatest, also wished it started earlier on weekends for those early morning games.

The toilet was very low down, hard in my hips and back in the morning. I missed a fan in the bathroom to help clear the air and mirror after showering.

Front Desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They were super patient, took care of us immediately, and held friendly conversation while getting us settled. All staff I ran into were eager to help me even if I hadn't asked but looked lost. The room was clean, had all the outlets and light working, and very nice appliances (TV, fridge, and microwave). There were many outlet all over. The breakfast was pretty good in my opinion. The cleaning staff wished us safe travels and were very kind when they saw us heading out. I keep scrolling back up to add new things and it might make this paragraph not as reader friendly. Here is my last note, the beds were also very comfortable! In short, the people, room, breakfast, and facilities were great!

I only had 1 issue that I want to address here. The only place I could find with filtered water was the fitness room (the man at the front desk pointed me in that direction). It would be nice if it was more available throughout the building.

Nice quiet hotel. We prefer to stay here when visiting family. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Beds were super comfortable and we slept well. Staff is very friendly.

Not a “dislike” more of a “preference”- but breakfast wasn’t the best hotel breakfast- good for a quick coffee and snack which is definitely a nice option. Starbucks and other restaurants are close by.

The location is close to the interstate, shopping and tons of food options. The property is well maintained and the staff is super polite. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet. I stayed for 4 days and plan to stay again my next trip. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was really a nice feature. It’s updated, nice size rooms and the beds are actually comfortable.

Location to our friends, the highway and shopping and restaurants was ideal.

Sheets on the bed didn’t fit right and kept coming off. Pillows were horrible.

All is good. Knew what to expect since I have stayed there about 10 times in the past. Kinda surprised that I could not get a printed receipt since I booked through a 3rd party. Don't know why, but it's cheaper to book through Booking.com than directly with the hotel.

We’ve been traveling from Chicago to Florida and back, and now back to Florida in the last 2 months. Two of the trips were with our very picky daughter and our 2.5 yr old grandson. We picked a Hampton Inn on our first trip down to Florida, found it excellent (for ALL involved) and proceeded to look for Hampton Inns wherever we stopped. Our trips were 3 days/2 nights each way because my grandson needed to get out and run and my wife, recently hospitalized for numerous blood clots, had to walk. So every 90 minutes we stopped. Long story short. We now look for Hampton Inns. Your HI was wonderful; perfect size, perfect price, perfectly clean, great breakfast and great location.
