Holiday Inn Express Le Claire Riverfront-Davenport, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very attractive and comfortable. Enjoyed the step-in shower versus a typical tub with shower.

Our room was on the side of the hotel facing the railroad tracks - there were multiple trains passing throughout the night and they are VERY LOUD in the room. There were NO USB ports in the room for plugging in devices. The lighting could use to be a bit brighter (when needed). Also, we are not fans of all the dogs walking around in this pet-friendly hotel. Unfortunately, the hot tub/spa was out of service during our stay... very bummed out about that.

Everything was very clean. Beds were comfy.

Lady at desk was booking another persons stay on phone and we had to wait 10min to speak to her. She at least said to person on phone May I put you on hold so she could speak to us. Husband forgot to mention he qualified for a military discount until after bill was paid. When he said he forgot to tell her that , she said she couldn’t do anything about that but the manager could and manager would not be there til the morning. Well, morning came and went and we forgot to tell manager… no big deal but it would have been nice if the lady at desk could have left a note for manager to take care of it when he/she got there versus us having to seek out the manager. Cinnamon rolls were cold.Not near enough seating for breakfast.

Breakfast was good - nice options. I thought the juice glasses were very very tiny; watched a guy use a coffee cup (much larger) to get his juice - smart guy!

I don't like that all rooms face one of two ways. The cheaper rooms face a railroad track where trains go by 24hrs a day, blowing their horns; nice choice if you like listening to trains blowing their horns while you are awake and while you're sleeping. The more expensive rooms face the (much much quieter) Mississippi River and have balconies; very scenic. I wish this information was made available on your website. I would have liked to have had the choice about paying more for a quiet river view with a balcony.

The location is quite unique with a view of the Mississippi river on one side and train tracks on the other. I like trains but I can't say that I have been this close to one on purpose. If you are a railfan, this would be a good location to stay at. The room was clean and comfortable with newer amenities. The shower was unique in a good way and it was nice having cinnamon rolls for breakfast again. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect. We did not have breakfast only coffee . The room and bathroom was clean and very comfortable .

Loved our room . We had a balcony with our room to look out at the River . We were on the 2nd floor . Right above us the air conditioning from the 3rd floor unit was dripping directly on us when we opened our door to go out to enjoy our balcony .

i liked the smell of the bedding, had just a touch of bleach smell, which gave me the confidence they were clean, i also liked the softness of the sheets, also above the standard of other stays we have had. we had an upper level room with balcony riverside and not know if this was just for those rooms.

cannot think of anything we found undesireable.

The location was easy to find off I-80, right on the Mississippi river. It is a 5 minute drive along the river to downtown Le Claire. The breakfast was fine. My wife liked the pancakes from the auto-pancake-maker. The selection of currants/raisins, pecans, and brown sugar were welcome additions to the oatmeal. Excellent coffee. Clean and comfortable rooms with sufficient charging receptacles for your devices. Excellent treadmills and exercise equipment. Friendly and helpful staff.

The paper cups used for the coffee were disappointing. Even when doubled up, the coffee was too hot to hold comfortably unless you wrapped them in a napkin. The cups used at a typical Speedway or gas station/convenience store are superior. We were on the back side of the hotel, across the parking lot from the train tracks. The first night I was awakened by one of the two trains that typically pass through. By the second and third night it was less annoying. The pre-made cheese omelets were functional though not very tasty.

Just far enough off i-80 to hear no traffic noise. Beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Morning breakfast had the best assortment of food and tasted great. Everyone at front desk were super nice and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Left shirts in closet and they mailed to me a week later. Who does that? Thanks for everything.

Very comfortable room and king size bed. Staff was helpful and attentive. Everything was perfect for a relaxing night's sleep. Breakfast had an excellent variety of both hot and cold items.

There were small concerns about cleaning, but they weren't enough of a concern to mention it to the staff. Small details were missed.

Breakfast was Great! Very clean place.

I booked a deluxe king balcony at $256. $296 with taxes. We received a standard king ground floor. No up grade or price reduction from the staff. Said since it was booked thru you that there was nothing they could do. The room I paid for was not the room I booked. Will booking.com refund the overpayment I wonder.
