Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown

I had to attend a function at the Convention Center and it was extremely close and less than a 15 min walk. I found several good restaurants nearby and even walking at 8 PM in the winter when very dark out was very safe. Breakfast was a nice surprise as I had forgotten it was a benefit and they had hot eggs, sausage if you wanted a hot item as well as the usual cereal, Danish, yogurt etc. Coffee was very good I think Peet's but not sure about that. Still good enough . Very reasonable price.

Although the room, bed and furnishings were fine including hang up closet and iron (who does that any more) there was no drawer to place folded clothes that one could reach easily each day while staying there. In all fairness there were two open shelves under the TV where you could lay out these clothes to be used over the days there but they were exposed and out in the open. Prefer an old fashioned Chester drawers. This is a minor issue as the room was very comfortable , clean, had a very well working heater /air conditioner. Streaming services on TV very limited. Could only find a single news station.

The room was well designed and comfy at the same time. The front desk was helpful and professional at check-in. I ordered food for delivery to my room and called the front desk the next day to ask for delivery policy. Someone picked up the phone right away and answered my questions. Breakfast seemed fresh and the hot items were hot. There was a very short line and everything was well organized. My bedroom was warm and toasty.

I couldn’t figure out how to switch on the thermostat in the living room section of the suite. I didn’t bother to call the front desk because I didn’t stay in that room to sleep.

The room and the hotel itself felt very luxurious and comfortable, the breakfast area was very clean and had items that most hotels I've stayed in did not have, the coffee bar was always stocked with fresh hot coffee, and the bar had ever drink I could image I wanted when night time hit.

My stay ended up costing me $531 and some change for two nights in a king-sized bedroom. It was a very last-minute stay, but I remember picking this hotel because it was of the more affordable options out of all of the hotels in Lousiville and it ended up costing me just as much to stay there as a private name hotel. Parking was $15 a night and it was not gated in, nor did I see security out front when I would get in late.

very clean, love that you had to have your room card to actually access the hotel after a certain time so you know only guests can get in!

nothing to really complain about, other than if your not from the area it can be confusing getting there had a little trouble with GPS. Not the hotels fault of course!

The friendliness of the staff .cleanliness of the property was good. Very helpful if I had an issue.

There wasn't enough communication about the type of breakfast being put out. I for one didn't really care. But it seems more guest wouldnt have been so upset about it if it would have been communicated a little better. ( I know you cant please everyone). But with that being said the breakfast lady was hounded and cursed over this. She was only doing what she could do. I beleive the manager could of done a better job at helping with the issue.

The menu for breakfast change daily, which I liked.

Requested daily service for the room when I registered. Had to remind them of this. I registered thru a 3rd party and there was an issued getting my confirmation.

this is a very good hotel in the downtown location , it has easy access and a very good breakfast option when not under covid restrictions.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have enjoyed the rooms with two queen beds for their spaciousness . On this visit with my wife we opted for the room with the King sized bed at a up grade in price but was surprised to find not only the bedroom but the bathroom both were dramatically smaller for a higher price. In the future I will just do the double queen beds with the larger space. our room was # 429

Room was clean, pool was clean, breakfast was phenomenal. The location was walkable to a number of attractions.

The pool was clean but lacked a few amenities (dirty towel receptacle, a bathroom/shower in the pool area, etc.)

Room was nice and pretty large. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Adequate breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful recommending area sights.

Very small TV for a hotel room. Pretty pricey for a one night stay , around $240.

close to hospital. Easy to get to.

Hallways could have used vacuuming. vending machines were with offline for card usage. one took my card but didn’t produce drink. parking price is comparable but a little high for just parking overnight. would have considered the price more reasonable if a shuttle had been available to the hospital area.
