I thought the location was great - easy access to everything we wanted to explore, with many local spots within easy walking distance. The hotel was thoughtfully designed with artwork which I appreciated. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the size of the hotel enabled us to develop relationships over time. The restaurant for breakfast was very yummy and a good value as was largely included.

The hotel was very expensive because we went during a very busy time. I can understand surge pricing, but it was very expensive all things considered. I would have liked to have received an email from the hotel in advance of my check-in, clarifying what to expect upon arrival. Valet signs were difficult to find and the valet was incapable of driving my car (stick-shift).

The hotel was new and decorated in an upscale, unique fashion. Staff was friendly, especially, Mr. Floyd who assisted us with breakfast. Location was good if you are looking for an urban experience. Hopefully the downtown will continue to open up with shops and restaurants that didn't seem to recover from the GF protests. The lower level bar/restaurant is very unique and beautiful with exposed brick and stone walls. No expense was spared in the creative decor.

There are a few things that could have been better: 1) If you are sitting in the beautiful hotel lobby there are no power sources for laptops and phones. There is one desk area in a common hallway by the elevator with power but not idea place to sit and just chill. 2) There are no vending machines for drinks or snacks. 3) We had a regular king room and there was no place to sit comfortably except on the bed. There was plenty of room for a comfy chair or window seats but other than a desk chair, the only place to sit was on the bed. 4 Lastly, the bathrooms were so nice but I would add that the lighting is recessed in the high ceiling and not great for applying makeup or seeing to shave. There are no lighted makeup mirrors so the sink area is darker than it could be.

Great hotel. Cool vibe and style. Comfortable rooms and beds. Amazing shower. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. You get a continental breakfast included with the room or $10 off any other breakfast. The coffee was sooo good! Had dinner in the restaurant too - also stellar. Old Fashion was upscale and fabulous. I asked the bartender to make me a creative drink off menu and he delivered me a wonderful cocktail. $40/night for valet parking. Next door to the Mohamed Ali museum. (And the bathrobes look like wrestling robes - nice touch.) Half mile walk to the convention center. Near lots of great food.

Price felt high, but it may have been because a convention was in town and other hotels were sold out.

Quaint boutique hotel with a very friendly and informative manager. We enjoyed speaking with him and learning about the area. The bartender was very nice and made some exceptional drinks. The location was good and everything was very clean.

The "breakfast included" was not what it seemed. It was a $20 voucher that went towards very overpriced items. There was nothing that stated anything about this and it was quite irritating to have an additional added charge. The parking was also way too much for the area we were in. The room was also very small and claustrophobic.

Grady was in a great location within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly, helpful, and engaging. The Swann restaurant down stairs was convenient and very good as well. Everyone made us feel like a welcomed guest.

Not necessarily a dislike, but an available QR code for the parking while staying would’ve been great, and a microwave in the room would have been a plus.

we loved everything about this hotel from the people to the aesthetic. such a clean modern pretty place to stay. also loved that the KPA was within walking distance. we also walked to our restaurant last night which had a great burger! it was called Mussels and Burgers??? I think.

there are no snack machines or drink machines in the establishment. not a huge deal, it is a more upscale place to stay, which was a splurge for my husband and I and so maybe that’s expected with more of a luxury hotel??

Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower and bathroom. Clean and hip design. Excellent location to explore downtown. Most of the staff was very friendly, from the valets to the housekeeping staff.

I’m sure it’s great for dog owners that they’re allowed to stay, but for those without dogs the incessant barking is annoying. Noise from the street is acceptable for a downtown hotel, but loud guests fighting at 3am is not. Breakfast is very underwhelming to poor and there are limited to no options near by. Front desk staff could be more familiar with parking garage options near by.

The building was beautifully decorated and had an old school yet modern charm to it. The staff was always polite, helpful, and friendly. The continental breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is within a nice walking distance to various museums and activities. Clear and straightforward safety data nearby reviewing an exit strategy in case of an emergency. Full size toiletries on the wall in the shower (bath gel, shampoo and conditioner) along with a clothing steamer in the closet, a towel specifically for make up removal, and a blow dryer.

There is no parking within the hotel you must find a garage or opt for valet which is $40 daily. it’s not a huge issue for a short trip but I imagine that can get costly if you’re staying long. The pillows on the bed were the absolute worst, we both tossed and turned because the pillows had no constitution. They went flat almost immediately after laying on them providing no true support. I woke up with a back ache both days I stayed. I was a little disappointed that there was not a gym on the premises but I also realize this was an older hotel and knew that there wasn’t one before booking. Aside from those minor things there were no serious dislikes regarding the hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, everything about it was a beautiful experience. It was walking distance to KFC yum center where we attended an Eric Church concert. The restaurant also had fabulous food and drinks and offered free breakfast. I had just lost my mother a few weeks before our trip and the staff went above and beyond and even upgraded our room. And I can't forget to mention the cute chocolates on the bed and the fancy robes. We will only stay here from now on when visiting the area.

Nothing , it's was immaculate! Couldn't have ask for anything more. It's a top notch motel. All I have is praise for this cute and historic stay.

Breakfast was good, our first morning Chris was great. Location in relation to the theater, we got last minute tickets to Hamilton and it was nice just walking "next door". Everyone was great at checkout and valet.

Picked the Grady because you had a restaurant, However when we checked in, we found out that it was closed both days we would be there. That was disappointing. We also checked to see if our room had been serviced and were told that we had DND on the door, we did not. It was a little frustrating.
