Staff were friendly and always ready to help. There were plenty of surfaces to put open suitcases and still walk around comfortably. Really appreciate the self service laundry, making things easy for longer trips! Location was great for food and shopping. If you have a car, don't be put off by it being 'airport area', it's only a short drive to the town centre.

Hot breakfast options could be mixed up a bit more. It was also disappointing to see disposable cutlery and plates being used. Unfortunately it seems the US is still very behind with this. It would be great to see Hilton taking a better stance on this. Imagine the waste this one company could stop from going to landfill.

Breakfast was great. Wide variety and good hot options. Big open area. Wonderful coffee. Room was good with plenty of outlets and nice indirect lighting options. Good bed. Very small room for the high price. Clever use of rolling tables made it very versatile. Liked the European style toiletries. Excellent staff. Knowledgeable and helpful.

Was surprised there was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. Apparently it it Tru policy. Price was quite high but that could have been a holiday rate.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean, as well as decently sized. Breakfast was surprisingly good, the pancake machine was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the curtains kept out the sun in the am. Coffee was horrific and undrinkable, but there is a Starbucks across the parking lot.

Would have liked to see a coffee shop in the building itself. The elevators were a bit small and would be difficult to fit a family and luggage all at one time. The rooms need a bigger trashcan.

Everything was neat and clean for our 1 night stay. The price was good - comparable to others in the area, and the breakfast had a variety of options. We called before our arrival and were pleased that our request for a room close to elevator would be accommodated.

It was a little noisy during the night due to traffic going by. We were in the back of the building, not sure if front would be less so. Also, we would have liked a second chair in our room. I know space may not allow for one, but even a folding chair would be welcome.

Breakfast was very, very good. It was wonderfully quiet during our visit.

For the price, I would have expected some regular basic room service: fresh towels, trash pick up, bed made. If I visit again, I will request a room on the Maine Mall side of the building. The noise from the turnpike wasn't a major problem, but the stay would have been better without it.

Very clean, minimalist property. No carpeting, no closets, no dressers, which I like because that is less things to get dirty! Big king room, big shower, great soap lotion and shampoo (which I ordered online for myself when I got home!) Very comfortable bed with soft sheets and many pillows. Big Tv with a lot of channels. Close to shopping and highway but quiet at night.Pet friendly. Nice staff, good breakfast, quick check in and check out. Will definitely return.

This is the second time we've stayed at Tru. Good price and location, clean, comfortable bed, cool aesthetic, good breakfast (pancakes, eggs, add-ins for oatmeal).

The first time we stayed there we faced the back and it was quiet. This time we faced the front, and could hear the road noise despite the hotel being set back. So ask for a room facing the back.

BEST breakfast out of many hotels that I've stayed in over the past few months. LOTS of places to sit down and eat. Very helpful and friendly people at the front desk. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. HUGE shower. Big dispensers of shampoo, hand soap, lotions, etc. Hotel is 4 floors and was full but elevators were very fast and efficient. Huge window in the room.

Very well thought out minimalist hotel, had lots to offer. Modern, Trendy, and clean. Comfortable rooms and great bathrooms. Excellent lobby and breakfast buffet. We only stayed here one night during our travels, but wished we could’ve stayed one more night as it was welcoming and comfortable. Will stop here again on our next trip through.

We stayed here as a family vacation for a few nights, mainly to go to old orchard beach. Portland was a great little city with some family friendly activities, which added some variety to our trip. The breakfast was great. The rooms are well designed and everything has it’s place, even my shower cap! It is clean and staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.
