Holiday Inn Express & Suites College Park - University Area, an IHG Hotel

Hotel was nice and was very convenient to the purpose of our trip. The amenities were nice and the workout room was exceptional.

About 3:00 am, I noticed the floor in our room was wet. Since the bathroom floor was dry, the water had to be coming from outside of our room. It had rained heavily the day before, so perhaps it was rainwater leaking through the roof, although nothing appeared to be dripping from the ceiling (we were on the top floor), or something overflowing in another room. We left later in the morning and the desk staff seemed genuinely concerned, which was nice.

The room was comfortable and adequate for my needs. The location was close to the campus where I was dropping off my son. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on recently. I got a really good night's rest. The bathroom was super clean and well equipped. The fridge and microwave in the room were really handy.

I couldn't raise the height of the desk chair so I had to use a pillow. The small table in the room was wobbly so I couldn't use it to work or eat. Generally quiet, but there was quite a lot of noise and bumping starting around 6am. This helped me get going a bit sooner than I would have, so it was okay.

The use of their van service was awesome. We got dropped off and picked up at mass transit into DC. The driver noticed our 3 yr old granddaughter had new Paw Patrol shoes. When we went down for breakfast the next morning he remembered us and turned Paw Patrol cartoon on the TV. That's customer service for every age. The front desk also had treats for her on Halloween. Nice touch to have foot scraper outside since it was raining.

The hide a bed was not comfortable but worked for a child.

The hotel is very convenient for people going to visit or move into UMD-College Park. We were dropping our son off at college and stayed in a spacious suite that was very comfortable, had one full and one half bath. There was plenty of room to relax, with our son having his own room with a pullout sofabed and bathroom. There was also a Keurig to making your own in room coffee. The breakfast was very good, with a great choice of hot and cold foods, including really delicious biscuits and cinnamon buns. The concierge was very friendly at check in and helped me save money on my stay by enrolling for free in the IHG benefits program.

I have no complaints about our stay. This actually exceeded our expectations and plan to stay here again when we go to visit our son at UMD.

From check in to check out staff were great. Stayed in suite and bed linen and bed were of highest quality. Breakfast good, for a motel. Don't expect a la carte, but some hot options along with the usual continental. Fresh fruit too, and coffee good. The whole premises was immaculate. Can't fault, one of the best motel stays ever, better than most 4 star hotels.

Location a bit out of town, but that's always the case when you're looking for a motel.

The room had 1.5 bathrooms which we hadn’t expected, but was a great feature. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We like that the suites offer a variety of set ups for a family.

Sheets weren’t ready for our pullout couch when we arrived (but we’re ready about 10 minutes later). I would suggest leaving those in the room closet.

We rented a suite for the night, which was very spacious and comfortable. The shower is powerful and it was great having an extra bathroom for our son to use in the living area where he slept on a pullout couch.

They were doing work on the sidewalk in front of the hotel on the day we arrived, so pulling into and out of the lot wasn't easy. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great breakfast but tables not cleaned often enough

Was in a room with running toilet they offered to change but I felt too much of a hassle. I figured out close bathroom door heard little then. I asked for empty garbage twice never done. And more tissue never done went down to desk got some.

Breakfast was simple but good. Could have more variety at least every other day.

Pool is in the middle of the parking lot. Didn't seem that way in the pictures and at the end was not attractive for us, so we end up not using. Also parking lot could offer more sense of safety since we were with the car packed for move in and so many contactors trucks made us feel a little insecure. As so many people use this hotel for this purpose, the hotel could have night security and advertise it. Just to make it clear, nothing happened with us!

The room was super clean and wider than what I thought, the bed was comfortable and give me a chance for good and deep sleep, I found coffee machine + iron + microwave +refrigerator + save box , and dozens of towels hhhhhhh. The breakfast was very nice with super service, I will come again for sure. And strongly recommend.

The air in the bathroom was so cold, the heater was working in the room only
