Only a block to the beach. They we very accommodating when I questioned being over charged and fixed it right away.

No daily housekeeping, which was understood, but they should offer clean towels. I had to ask. Overall a great experience and would stay there again

Room was very clean and updated. Bed linens were very comfortable and clean.

Every single time I used my room phone to reach front desk or housekeeping it was constantly busy even when they weren’t busy at the front desk. So I believe they need to work on that. Also requested a crib for my 2month old daughter and was given a utility cart. I went back down to front desk to question it and was informed that they ran out of pack n plays so the front desk rep continued to try to put towels in it like that would be suitable to put a small baby in.

Really appreciated distance to the beach, very walkable, and the 7-11 nearby as well as other fast food places. Parking was great. Open lot when we arrived. Appreciated tables & chairs in room off lobby to eat purchased foods at. Also, appreciated coffee & hot water for tea 24 hrs/day, and room tray to carry the hot liquids up to room. Appreciated the O.C. bus stop being in front of the hotel.

Very noisy in lobby area, into room with tables & chairs. Noisy in halls where people talked loudly & let doors slam at all hours. Blinking light from smoke detector was disturbing at night when all else was dark. Though on 5th floor, noise from street was still evident with noisy zooming cars or loud radios. When possible, would still like the restaurant to be available on the top floor, and a view to watch the sunset on the deck outside.

The pool/splash pad/hot tub area is big and inside so when we arrived and it was raining we were able to take the kids to swim. The room was huge and very clean. They have an outside are to spray yourself off after getting sandy at the beach before going into the hotel. The breakfast has plenty of options with bagels, muffins, pancakes, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, juice, coffee, and milk.

specific to me-the beds were really firm which hurt my hips and back (but if that’s your thing then your in luck). The pool was great except that when you first walk in you get hit with a very strong chlorine smell that takes some getting used to. The breakfast area is not maintained so bring your own Clorox wipes or something to clean the tables and go early because there’s not a lot of room to sit if you have a family.

The beds were amazing, and the staff were wonderful, especially ms Audrey! She helped us to add on an additional night because we were enjoying ourselves so much. We didn’t want to leave, including our beagle who had plenty of room to stretch out in the bed and her own potty area, just for the pups! The pool/hot tub were relaxing and refreshing, and Fenwick even provides towels in the pool area!

We wish the pool/hot tub was open 24 hours. The juices that were available at breakfast were not very good but I think the fact that both are even an option, outweighs our minor complaints. Overall, we really don’t have any complaints! We can’t wait to come back!

the hotel is so much nicer then it used to be. the room was very clean

my one suggestion would be a rug or mat outside of the bathroom to get any sand of your feet. or some extra towels to dust off any sand before you got in bed. also maybe a few hooks to dry suits or towels on.

the hot tub, the pool & location

the sound of other guests in the hallway was pretty loud in our room.

The hotel is clean,the rooms are a good size,it’s located in a safe location,the staff is very helpful & they have pet friendly rooms.

I didn’t like the extra $30 a night fee we had to pay for our dog.She is well behaved, & we never leave her alone in the room.I just wish they would take a pet deposit that could be returned when they see that the room is clean with no damage.I feel $30 a night adds up quickly.The pet owner should just be responsible for any damage.However,I don’t mind a small fee because they do maintain a designated pet area outside that even supplies bags & a garbage can for waste.Just my opinion.But we certainly appreciate being able to bring our fur baby with us. *We visit Ocean City,MD several times a year for mini breaks.

The rooms were so spacious. The pool and splash pad area were so fun for my kids, they also had a rack of pool towels for everyone to use. The breakfast was great, bagels, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and juice. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea anytime was really nice. The little store in the lobby had a little bit of anything you could need. Plus our dogs were able to come with us! So great.

The lines got crazy for breakfast. Maybe extending it an hour or adding a second pancake machine would cut the lines down a bit. You have to wear shoes in your room, the floor is hardwood, but will turn your feet/socks black if you walk barefoot.

There was a lot more to love than dislike. We loved being able to have our dog with us on vacation, and the staff was extremely friendly towards our little Oakleigh. We loved Mickey who checked us in and out, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. The roof top bar was exquisite and everything was decadent and top notch. Highly recommend to all friends and family.

The rooms were a little dirty but we were staying on the pet friendly floor so it was to be expected especially since we were warned ahead a time about the lack of maid service employees before hand so it wasn't a deal breaker.
