Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Ocean City, an IHG Hotel

This location is in close proximity to the beach. Just a five minute walk across the street and you’re there! Breakfast is included. The staff were friendly and professional. My kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools. Our room indicated two queen beds, but we discovered that we also had a pullout couch which was great so my kids would have their own stretching space.

The view wasn’t pleasant! Especially for the price we paid for one night. We were located on the second floor. Our view was the Bourbon Street Restaurant. We couldn’t comfortably open our window without being seen. No balcony.

Everything from start to finish was absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean, we had an amazing view of Coastal Highway and the ocean, the free breakfast was more than we expected, the staff was very friendly, the ladies who tended to our room asked us every day if there was anything we needed. Our stay at Holiday Inn Express was wonderful. We are planning to return next year to the hotel (and we're staying for a week this time !!). Keep up the great work !

I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

The property was clean and in a good location. The breakfast was pretty decent considering we are just coming out of a pandemic. We had some contact with staff in the halls and elevator and they were all very nice.

We ran out of towels and had some trouble getting extras. I assume it was a supply issue. However, if you are going to fill a hotel and charge what you charge per night, make sure you have enough towels. Our room was a suite but did not have a table. We ate some meals in the room so that was a bit of an issue.

The location was great- close to the beach, close to the Northside park, close to activities & dining. The staff was so friendly & went out of their way to be helpful & efficient. We spent the weekend with our grown kids & grandkids. Everyone had a wonderful time even though the weather was cool & windy. The indoor pool & guest laundry facilities were an added bonus for our stay!!

The weekend went too quickly- we would have liked to stay longer!

How convenient the hotel was around everything including the soccer arena behind the hotel as well as local restaurants.

The hotel was so noisy that it made it awkward at times thinking that our door was being knocked on when it was other rooms. You could hear people talking, shutting doors and being loud. This isn’t necessarily something I usually care about but it was extra loud here and i’m not sure it can be improved, it’s just something that was irritating.

Good location for us. Less busy end of town. Quiet. Breakfast was very tasty & ladies tending to it were sweet & caring. :)

Mattresses not supportive & need replacing. Shabby chair at desk, which was too close to bed. We were told there'd be no housekeeping & to call the desk if we needed anything. Would have been nice to be given extra Toilet Paper, Tissues.. The trash really piled up - would be nice to at have it collected once a day.

The room was very nice and the staff were GREAT!

I didn't like that our room was at the top of the stairs. I thought I had booked a room with a bay view and the room was overlooking the indoor pool so I could not open the curtains the entire stay. It was very noisy with people walking by and gathering in the lobby. Also, there were cheer leading and soccer tournaments in town and many of the participants were staying at our hotel. I could hear kids running through the hall above us at 6:00 a.m.

We stay at hotels multiple times a year and we always have issues of some sort with the hotels. We commented to each other that we did not have one negative thing to say about this stay. We will be back, I hope they keep it up. The breakfast was surprising for a free hotel breakfast, good food, seating, people and everything was clean.

The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Had a nice view of Northside Park. Located in a nice quiet area. Staff was very friendly.

There was noise due to fire alarm tests and some construction, and there was a cheer competition in town. A lot of them stayed here and they were pretty loud late into the evening. But I know that wasn't the hotel's fault. And I know construction, etc has to happen at some point to keep it nice. Other than that, great stay!

It was super clean! I feel like towards the end of the season people get lazy and don't clean as well, but that was not the case here. Great location. Close to the beach. The pools were clean. I love the 11am checkout time. Some places are 9 and 10 am. That extra hour makes a difference and allows you to make the most of your last few hours here.

The breakfast could use a few more options. Great coffee though. It wasn't weak and I didn't need to go out and spend extra money on real coffee. I would have liked milk/creamer options. Pool towels were rarely available. Some of the linens (towels, washcloths) were stained- I always bring my own anyway.
