Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center

Breakfast selection was very good- staff was friendly and room was also very good. We were in town for the Susan Komen 3 day walk supporting our daughters. I loved the free shuttle service to Fenway Park.

I was somewhat surprised at the surroundings outside the perimeter of the hotel- the view outside our 8th floor view centered directly on the street filled with homeless and " vagrants" - certainly not what I expected- or you could see the tents sets up in the alleys across the street. The Taxi driver we used on the ride back from Fenway stated most taxis disliked coming to this area. The security folks and hotel did a great job of shielding the guests from this "issue" but I certainly was disappointed- especially for an average of 280$/night!

We had a 10-year-old with us the pool was great the perfect depth for them to play. Appreciated that there was a security guard in the lobby in the mornings and in the evenings. The evening security guard was very kind. All of the front desk workers were very nice.

I did not realize that the location would be so close to such a highly populated drug using area. I didn't realize how far from the subway that the hotel was. We were banking on using the shuttle to and from the airport and the fact that that is not open after covid is highly disappointing. We ended up taking the free Logan shuttle from the subway which was horribly overcrowded it was awful.

The cleanliness of the room was excellent. And the staff were very friendly and were there when I needed anything.

I didn't like that they only had latex rubber gloves for use during breakfast. I am extremely allergic to latex, and I felt awkward being the only person there that I could see at the time, not wearing gloves like everyone else. In fact, I felt a little embarrassed. I wish they had non-latex gloves for people with latex allergies like myself.

Loved our stay. Family of 5. Initially I was concerned after reading the reviews but we had a brilliant time and had no issues with noise it was just regular city noise. We were on the 4th floor. Staff were so friendly, breakfast was great, kids loved the pool. Used the gym most days. We didn't walk around the area as we have young kids and it's probably not the best part of Boston to stroll around in but we had a car for 3/5 days and on the other two days we used Uber or the hotel shuttle to be dropped off in the city. Uber XL was £11 each way. Free coffee and cookies was amazing.

This is a great affordable Boston hotel. Frankly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was positively surprised by how accommodating everyone was, from the security guard, and front desk to the lady at breakfast. Parking was very convenient, just across the street. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is easy to navigate. Tip: if traveling with young children, buy everything you might need prior to check-in since there are no grocery stores nearby (7/11 is closest 8 min walking)

Our window was facing the hospital, and we stayed over the weekend, so there was a lot of ambulance noise and helicopter landing/taking off. It seems the windows are due for an upgrade, since I didn't feel there was any noise insolation. Thankfully we've had our white noise machine for the little one, which helped.

I just wanted to highlight 2 items. Front desk person Cesar was excellent getting me checked in quickly, consolidating my membership points, getting our waters and taking care of the parking pass needed for our 4 night stay. That really started things off well for us and I was very thankful every time we pulled to the parking garage that we had safe, close parking as part of our room rate. I also wanted to highlight the folks running the breakfast service - they were always moving, refilling food and coffee continuously all morning & very helpful when asked. We were also thankful for the breakfast included in the room rate and pleasantly surprised with the overall quality.

The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. We had several conversations with staff during breakfast and security. Our daughter was always greeted along with us and was given multiple gifts while there. We were within a 45 minute walking distance to everything we wanted to see which helped with Boston traffic so we didn't have to drive.

The hotel wasn't exactly in the most ideal location next to the hospital as were heard sirens going constantly all day and night. While never bothered by them the homeless occasionally made us trepid especially having a 1 year old with us and walking at night.

We were upgraded to a larger room with a kitchenette (not that we needed one). The room was very large and on the 3rd floor, of 9 floors. The ground floor reception area was modern and airy, like a hotel, incorporating the reception, leisure seating areas and the large self service breakfast area. Part of the Hilton group, so you can collect points for you stay. Car park is just across a minor back street.

Being on the corner of the 3rd floor, close to a busy crossroads junction. Traffic was noisy, including police and emergency vehicles, except for a few hours in the early hours.

Very good location (we were attending an event at the BUSM), above average breakfast, clean and comfy rooms. The bathroom was ok... a bit old fashioned thou.

The first room's air conditioning system was not working properly... I had to call several times (too many times!) to front desk to solve the problem... The front desk man did not do anything to help us... after insisting many times, for several hours, they offered us another room (this happened only because the night shift front desk clerk was more attentive and polite to our problem and did change our room to a bigger suite).

The room was a great size for my adult daughter and me. We had plenty of space to spread out. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we appreciated the amount of outlets for charging our devices, etc. The bathroom counter was nice and large so we could fit all of our toiletry bags. The free breakfast had a nice variety: 2 waffle makers; rotating hot options each day (eggs, bacon or sausage, and potatoes/French toast, etc.); bagels, English muffins, and bread for toasting; yogurt, cereal, and muffins; bananas, oranges, and apples; pre-made oatmeal with toppings such as dried fruit, sliced almonds, and brown sugar; and coffee and juices.

I was surprised that there was only one tiny garbage can in the bathroom and no other garbage can in the room. We filled ours pretty quickly and needed to use other plastic and paper bags we had with us for the rest of our trash. I wish the bathroom had a fan- each time we took showers, the room fogged up. One strange thing- there was a card you could fill out and hang outside the door, to notify the cleaning staff about which days you wanted your room cleaned. We marked "Friday" on our card and left it on the door handle when we arrived on Wednesday, but when we came back super late on Friday night, we saw that the room had not been touched. Not a huge deal as far as sheets and towels go, but we really wanted the garbage emptied!
