Sheraton Boston Hotel

We had a large room with several seating options; the king size bed was comfortable, 3 large windows to let in light (the view was not great); daily housekeeping that included fresh water and coffee/tea; The Market as an option for breakfast rather than the $30 buffet; friendly staff; quick fix when the light in our bathroom quit working; direct access to Prudential Mall which also connects to Copley - good for walking.

We used Uber and several of the drivers were confused about getting to the entry for the Sheraton but we always got there eventually.

Central location, large well-equipped room with very comfortable beds.

I would like to see local calls non-chargeable and cheaper WiFi.

The room size was great, larger than most hotels. My wife loved the fact it had a nice bath tub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to local eateries and stores.

Difficult to get to due to all the local road construction. Dinner, tried the "fried chicken" if you want to call it that. It was a very thin slice of chicken that you could almost find amongst the batter it was covered in. They don't do fried chicken like grandma did fried chicken. The price of parking. You're a guest there, parking should be free, not $65 a night.

- The location is EXCELLENT. It's located inside the Prudential Mall and right next to Newbury street. You can easily walk to Beacon Hill and all other popular destinations. - Rooms were modern and well kept. - Daily housekeeping. - Free coffee was provided daily. - The view from my window was amazing. You could see the river and the entire surrounding buildings. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Also at night when it's all lit up. - The lobby is beautiful and spacious. Lots of areas to sit and work or enjoy at the lobby. - Reception staff was nice enough, some were really helpful whereas some were pretty rude. Depends on who you end up talking to. Housekeeping staff was really nice though.

- The hotel restaurant isn't great. I wouldn't recommend it. - The bathrooms were tiny. Literally so small. - The hotel isn't as silent as I'd prefer. You can hear neighbours and you can hear the bathroom from other rooms. Was really annoying especially at night. - I called housekeeping twice to request water bottles when they forgot to restock mine. Even after calling twice, no one came to give them. I had to order them from a store nearby. - Heating was a bit confusing to control. Sometimes it got too hot and sometimes too cold. - Housekeeping doesn't vacuum unless you ask them.

I liked so much about this property! Location, cleanliness, comfort was all great! The coffee and extra water in the room was very welcomed. Room had a great view as well. The variety of food choices in the Market downstairs was excellent and well-priced.

While the room was extremely clean/neat and had many great amenities, it could use some repairs, especially in the bathroom. Cracked tiles and crack in the bathtub. The shelf on the wall was hung in front of a piece of painted plywood that looked terrible. The door was scratched/cracked and could use a new coat of paint. The shelves in the bathroom were all scratched up too. It was extremely clean and it's obvious that the housekeepers take pride in their work. I would have given this property a 5 star rating, had it not been for these cosmetic issues - details are everything.

The location and view from our room were excellent.

For £400 a night, we did not expect to have holes in our sheets, and did not expect to be asked to pay for wifi. This rate is also WITHOUT breakfast. Also we chose this hotel on the basis that it had a pool, after 2 days we were unable to use the pool as the chemicals had been mixed wrongly and would have burned users skin! When I complained I was only told when we were checking out that we could have used the pool for the sister hotel round the corner. I was also told that the chemical issue was like when the fire alarm goes off, it cant be helped. Any hotel I have stayed in and the fire alarm has gone off has either upgraded us or compensated us. There was no offer of this.

I book my stay at the Sheraton because I'm a big fan of Sheraton Hotels. It's convenient because it's connected to the prudential center. There's three mbta train close by. I can go to Copley Station to reduce my waiting time by taking either green line train. I can walk over to Back Bay Station and take the orange line train. I use a bus company called Coach Company through the Ourbus website and it comes to New York at Port Authority Bus terminal at gate 21. In Boston pick ups and discharge is in front of the Sheraton Hotel so it works for me.

The one disappointment was not having a microwave in my room to warm my food.

Perfect view of fireworks, just what we hoped for. Comfortable chair for reading with floor lamp behind it. Good amount of desk-like surface to organize. Excellent air conditioning system, very quiet and very effective. Your staff is excellent.

No room to move on one side of king bed and framed picture on that wall made the narrow space even harder to get around that side. No bedside table and therefore no lamp on that side of bed.

We absolutely love this location and stay here almost every time we come to Boston. The pool is fantastic and you can walk to plenty of restaurants and shopping.

The restaurant/bar on site used to be open and a friendly atmosphere. On the night we were in town, a Friday night, at 11:15, we were rudely told even though the bar was completely full, that it was now closed. We had returned from the game and wanted to get a bite to eat and have a drink before returning to our room, but the staff in the bar/restaurant area was extremely dismissive and closing even though they had a full house.

The bed was large clean and firm; very clean room with modern excellent condition furniture...room spacious..love view from room; huge clean pool with sunroof; convenient pool hours; clean roomy fitness rooms; fast and safe elevator and was well secured by asking for room key to work; security; helpful staff; complimentary bottled water in room; large tv with free access to Showtime YouTube Netflix; clean bathroom with excellent fixtures that had no molds; relaxing and therapeutic shower with full water power; clean comfortable sheets on bed; nice pillows; good working refrigerator; working radio digital clock; all elevators functioned well even through hotel busy..

Having to pay to have a much needed microwave in my room. I believe a microwave should have been included, along with the refrigerator, for the high price paid.
