Hotel Commonwealth

Reason for travel was to see Red Sox and Blue Jays play. Also to see Fenway was a dream. So the location of hotel was ideal. The size of room was excellent. I liked that it was slightly oversized compared to most hotel rooms. Room was very clean, beds were nice, my adult son commented positively on the shower. I was very happy that the air conditioning worked well with a modicum of noise. The best part of the hotel was Nick the Concierge. Jovial, helpful, on spot. Great to meat you Nick, we are still talking about you and trying to imitate your accent.

I just felt for $500/night that there might be more facilities. Maybe Bagels or a small continental breakfast, something. Also surprised you don't have a pool at $500/ night. Neither a big issue. Maybe I am out of touch with hotel pricing in the U.S.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating! Room was very nice clean and we had the view we requested, since we travel to different cities with our grandsons each summer to visit a ball park! We could see the stadium from our room. The staff helped me when there was a booking error on my part and was able to extend our stay until Friday. The only shock were all the taxes added to the stay which seemed rather high! Valet parking staff were excellent and extremely professional! The cost for valet was in my opinion rather high! We paid less in NY City. Your city is remarkable and the different places we went were outstanding! Bravo to the Staff at Commonwealth! We will be back Best Regards, Ruth Robison

Extra taxes in Hotel stay seemed high! Adding an additional $123 to the hotel cost per day. Valet parking fee was higher than I expected. But all in all great place!

Location to MGM Concert Hall, Fenway all within a short 5 min walk. Room had a direct view of the famous Fenway Citgo sign. Kenmore T entrance literally next door. Easy on and off the Highway. Staff were great. Very personable and made check in and out super quick. Valets were also great. Took under 10 mins to get vehicle after calling. Room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Very quiet. Clean.

Price for one night was a bit high, especially when having to pay $72/day extra for parking. However I'd spend it again because the hotel was that awesome and can't beat the location. Wish there was an extra blanket in the room though, was a little chilly at night - needed the AC on high otherwise the room, like most hotels, gets stuffy quickly.

Every member of the staff that we interacted with was amazing. A wonderful mix of competence and kindness. Our room was spotless and wonderfully comfortable. The location for our concerts at Fenway couldn't be more convenient. Our dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi was spectacular. The endless still and sparkling water refills for the aluminum bottles you are given at check in is such a wonderful touch!

A walk in, glass shower would have been nicer and more on par with the rest of our experience versus the tub and shower curtain that we had. THIS is the closest to not liking something we could come up with.

We loved the room bathroom shower beds everything inside! Also the convenient walk to Fenway and also the subway right next door for easy access to ride to the aquarium and to the back part of the freedom trail which we started from bunker hill monument and uss constitution! Clean subway and easy to figure out where u needed to go even by just googling it and trains coming frequently

Maybe just having the valet charge part included when I first purchased or just included in whole total price that I didn’t know or realize it wasn’t already included

I loved how excited at how beautiful the room was. I also loved how close to Fenway the hotel was. I ended up leaving the concert I was seeing early due to rain and then went back to the hotel got dry and got to enjoy the rest of the show on the balcony of my room that was AMAZING!!

The pillows had a funny smell to them. When i walked into the hotel room later on at night I turned on the light switches and they didnt come on. Also I didn't receive a wifi password but I also forgot to ask.

The customer service was OUTSTANDING. They got out rooms right next door to each other. They were very accommodating and friendly. The snacks and water upon arrival were a nice surprise. And it was nice they continued to offer us water during the extreme heat wave. The gentlemen that worked the door were always EXTREMELY helpful and extremely friendly as well.

The air conditioner in room 215 wouldn’t lower whatsoever. The room was at 70+ the whole time. We didn’t report it because we didn’t want to be picky.

The location was very close to the underground. The Red Sox stadium was 5 minutes from the hotel.

The price is extremely high. Not include breakfast. We arrived vert late after 12 hours flight. Although I requested to them to prepare the room for 3 children, it was not prepared. I requested from the front desk to arrange the sofa to sofa bed but they said that I need to do it by myself, this is not the kind of service you expect for this type of hotel.

We shared a suite which although expectedly crowded it provided very good value. The bathroom was a good size and they responded immediately when we requested additional towels. Front desk always manned and helpful.

They could not find our booking on two occasions when first group arrived or when I arrived a few hours later, which meant a lot of waiting around for both. The double sofa bed was very uncomfortable (springs) the additional single bed on the other hand was fine.

loved the workers who helped us check in/out and any questions about local dinner spots or the best places for food. Nick was amazing and really was personable and went above and beyond. he truly was amazing and filled with so many resources. I loved exploring the art gallery. it was the first time we found it but it was an awesome hidden gem and I really loved it. Nick also was great explaining the upgrade in our room and it was so amazing. I wanted to stay forever
