Falmouth Inn

The location was fantastic. About 10 minutes from the beaches and just down the street from an lovely village with shopping and restaurants. It's also across the street from a DQ and Portuguese bakery, which we ate at for breakfast and recommend.

The parking was tough at night. But it was a weekend and at least one wedding was staying there (I know because we were a part of it) and they hosted a function on Saturday, so there were a lot of guests. Ultimately we always found a place to park, it just wasn't always the closest to our room.

Comfortable, clean rooms. The staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool as well. But the best part was the location, so close to everything without the expensive price tag!

The bed is very firm. Also the hot tub was not working when we went, with nothing but a yellow floor sign to keep guests out, and there wasn’t a cover over it so you can see the grime floating in the water.

It was our first time staying at Falmouth inn and we enjoyed it! My husband and I were very impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were. The Inn is super clean and had a relaxing atmosphere here. We loved the breakfast! Best continental breakfast we had so far staying anywhere. We already are planning to make trip back since it was so close to the ferry to Martha's vineyard. Many cute shops and restaurants 5 mins down the road

The service and breakfast could have been better. Coffee was really awful, no orange juice. Breads and muffins were dry and the scrambled eggs were burnt and tasteless. The food was not ready till well after 7:45 am one day. Very poor quality.

The rooms were clean, and appear exactly as they look in the photos. They are modern and well kept, like a Marriott. It is great value in Falmouth for the money. The staff was very friendly.

The continental breakfast was very basic / not good. Coffee was watery and not good. There were a lot of people smoking outside the building, during our stay. There was no smell inside the building, but definitely outside in the parking lot.

I like that the property was walking distance from the Island Queen ferry, and a short drive to many good restaurants. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast options were decent.

The staff were exceptionally helpful as we were locked out of our room one night and the cleaning staff allowed us to briefly call the front desk from another room they were cleaning. The front desk staff May, came up immediately with replacement key cards.

It's not your fault but we do miss your continental breakfasts....convenient to grab a quick bite and get on the ferry but LOVE the little snack bags you provided on check in but not the brown bags they came in..maybe colored or white ones in future?

There was plenty of parking, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable.

We had to go up to the front desk 3 times because our keys kept getting deactivated. Wish the pool had been warmer. It was one of the main reasons we booked the place and we were only in it for 10 minutes or so because our sons lips started turning blue. I'd also recommend bringing your own pool towels.

pool was indoors, which is great in winter, but we would have preferred outside in August. but that’s on me, I didn’t pay enough attention to details when booking.

It looked like the bathroom had all been redone it looked really terrific. Granite in the bathroom around the sink. Refrigerator, coffee. Everything you could possibly need in that room and it was clean and quiet.

The only concern was that the doors going to outside seem to be open to anybody being able to get in the hotel. Our keys to the room we're not needed to get into the building which was a little bit for me, a safety issue in traveling alone.
